:rotfl: Conservatoire is supposed to be aimed at people at music college level (I suspect all these different levels are partly aimed at making people think they have to upgrade every few years!).. grenaditte is a weird plastic thing that is supposed to sound/ feel like wood but is cheaper (have you seen these http://www.justflutes.com/guo-new-voice-composite-piccolo-product821469.html very weird!).. know what you mean, I'm sure some of the things on there didn't exist when I started out, I was amazed that you can buy special lip plate patches now when I used to have to use sticky paper to stop mine sliding about.. and the number of things I've forgotten, and end up looking completely blank in lessons... .:o :rotfl:
Oh my goodness, just saw the £14k one.. *drools*.. I reckon you'd be OK with £2-3k ish though, for now, until you get rich- there's one like mine on there (http://www.justflutes.com/pre-owned-andrew-oxley-925-solid-flute-productC1682.html) although mine has a little gold bit...
Um, yeah, work........ what's that....Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

What about one of these - http://www.justflutes.com/eva-kingma-handmade-contrabass-flute-product56519.html (have a look on YouTube for contrabass and even bigger stupidly massive flutes - they sound quite strange!)Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

In that case we'll need as many different flutes as possible between us
Best keep looking

Absolutely.. somewhere along the line I really want an alto flute - used to play it in a quartet at Uni and I loved it (though it looked really funny cos I was the smallest person with the biggest flute)... I wonder if we can get an Arts Council grant...?
I think I'm quite good at stomping (especially when in a mood)... :rotfl:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
