Have (finally!) PMed you starnac! :T
Right - I've had 2 or 3 hours of lazing around, time to get my backside in gear again! :T Mr Daffs has gone out and I've got about 5 hours before he comes back. Here's the plan....
6.15-7.15 flylady podcast on, tidy house! :T :T
7.15-7.45 eat and go through 'next actions' lists - can anything be done quickly? (couple of phone calls probably), is everything on the list that needs to be? Put water on for bath
7.45-8.30 garden! :T :T Absolute weedy tip at the minute  good job Pippi didn't make it here last week she would have been horrified :rotfl: :rotfl:
8.30-9 run, or shred. Darn well going to do one or the other! :rotfl:
9-10 nice warm bath and read :j :j :j :j :j
10-10.30 internet banking, and have a good think about budget for rest of month.
All this means I'm not going to make it over to cheery event I'd half planned to go to, but since it starts at 7, and will take me at least an hour to walk to, and another hour to walk home from, I'm going to pass on that this evening I think.
So, the race is on, I'll see you back here at 7.15 with a nicely sparkling house that isn't full of cast off camping equipment! :T :T0 -
Sounds like you have had a lovely day! Enjoy your eveningSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Thanks Hypno! :T :T
So, first job down, and house is looking, well, not entirely spotless, but certainly less of a tip than it was

Just munching on some strawberries and yogurt (couldn't face enormous tea after that giant jam roly poly earlier), then will get list out and make a phone call or two...
Started p*ssing down with a vengeance now - so may well put garden on hold... Mind you, maybe I'll just stick wellies and a waterproof on and get out there anyway0 -
Good luck with Shred - can you do the press ups for as long as they do?!!Weight loss: Start weight: 80kg; Current Weight: 77kg; Target weight: 55kg0

Sorry that I missed wishing you luck. I have a vision of you in red robes, yellow wellies and superman knickers over the top of the robes now! Oh the imagery you all conjure up on this thread is beyond belief.
Dont think you should work too hard on the housework now that you are a Dr Daffs. Rest and enjoy the day is what I say. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Er, sometimes VL, but I only do the weedy ones with me legs crossed ,not the proper ones
So, I'm getting there! :T :T :T

Texted the bloke about maybe coming to do my garden, and tried to order some books for a voluntary group thing, but they didn't have them all on the website so will have to ring tomorrow. Emailed some photos I've been meaning to send for ages tooand went through all my projects to see what else needed to go on the list :T :T
Then got out into the garden :j :j :j Only drizzling a tiny bit, so I just went out with a bucket and pulled as many weeds as I could. Timer went off after 15 minutes, so I reset it, and carried on. Started raining properly, but I had wellies on and didn't care
Timer went off again, and it was !!!!ing down even more by this point :rotfl: carried on, got round the entire garden (it's not very big, and I wasn't being very thorough :rotfl: :rotfl:) and emptied all the dead things in pots from by the back door, started puling up the dandelions from round the step, then the timer went off AGAIN and the heavens opened, and I HAD to come back inside cos I was only wearing a fleece and was absolutely drenched :rotfl: :rotfl:
Shred/running will have to waitI'm really rather hungry now, so have got noodles and salady stuff, and the bath water is just about warm enough by the time I've eaten it
Altogether a grand evening's pottering I'd say! :j :j :j :j :j :j0 -
Very admirable gardening!! I only do the wimpy ones too and I can do about four
