Right, MUST stop and go and get robes - gah!! Was meant to stop at 4, then got sidetracked actually *working* :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Then some scandal and intrigue happened (work relaed, not very interesting), and I got drawn in further, and now I HAVE to go and get robes, and I've not tidied up, and if my mother makes one little comment about how the hoovering hasn't been done she'll be given the hoover and told to do it herself
(I'm not above that, I've done it before
)

Thanks VL
Right - robes collected - that's one thing off the list at least! Mother's still not here, but I'm not feeling particularly inclined to drag the hoover up to the attic while I wait for her :rotfl: Have plumped the sofa cushions and done the washing up - that might just have to do
Have just had an email inviting me to a workshop as a 'specialist expert' though:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Not sure I'm the kind of specialist expert they had in mind... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Is it a cake eating workshop? Can I come? Can I can I can I can I can I :rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Plumping the cushions is definitely the most important job for mothers so I think you've cracked it!Weight loss: Start weight: 80kg; Current Weight: 77kg; Target weight: 55kg0

Hi Cheery!
It's been a while: I've been mad busy with work, family occasions and having family staying over for the past 3 weeks, hence not being around much. I'm delighted to hear that you are graduating tomorrow: can you wear a fresh daffodil on your robes for us?
I'll be there in spirit with you. Have a fabulous time and enjoy it. :T xxxPlease call me 'Pickle'

Thanks folks
Sadly not a cake eating workshop - I most definitely consider myself a Specialist Expert in that! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
So - trying to rouse the troops this morning. Mother got up at 7 and wouldn't sit down to eat her breakfast - is still dashing around saying 'I don't have time!'
Mr Daffs has only just rolled out of bed and blearily asked what he should wear.
Mother refuses to walk to ceremony, mr daffs refuses to go on the bus.
It's going to be a fun day! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
I'm sure it'll work out ok. Enjoy your day, you've earned it.0
