cazmanian_minx My two cats creep into the hall when they see me opening the cupboard door where the hoover lives to see if it's getting taken out and then run like a shot straight under my bed. When I hoover the bedroom you should see them trying to work out how to get past me, out the door and into the livingroom to hide under the couch.

There's a good chance I'm gonna turn into a slob if I don't get off my fat @r5e soon so this calls for drastic measures - I've taken today off as a holiday and I'm gonna clean clean clean until this whole house sparkles. I decided not to write a list cos if I do I'll spend all day writing it :rotfl: Had my breakfast so off I go - see you all after 2xHHC when I stop for my teabreak.

Hugs to all who need them
    Pep

Wednesday - master bedroom and landing
    Level One

[strike]Strip and wash the bedding[/strike] - done on Sunday
[strike]clear the floordrobe[/strike] - more the 'end of the bed'-robe for us, badly needed doing!
    Level Two
[strike]Clear the landing of gibble[/strike] - not too bad, just OH's DIY clothes hung over the bannister.
[strike]Vacuum the floors[/strike] - done. Junior Dog says if there's any nice non-hoovering family who wants to adopt him, he's packed and ready :p
    Level Three
[strike]Dust and deweb[/strike] - the dust was pretty bad, but couldn't see any webs, maybe I'm not looking hard enough...
Wipe any grotty paintwork [strike]and furniture[/strike] - the bedside tables got a wipe down and polish, but there's an awful lot of dog snot on the walls which needs scrubbing off (Senior Dog has a consolidated lung, our house can be gunge city when she's having a bad spell ).
[strike]Check those smoke alarms![/strike] - done on Monday night when we had a power cut - both working!

    [strike]Declutter bedside table[/strike] - done.

Feeling vaguely superwomanish after dealing with that lot in an hour! There's a load of laundry on as well and I've cleaned the hoover filter. Now it's Hi-Ho, Hi-Ho, to Inverness I go - have a good day everyone :D

    Morning all

I've stripped my bed and there are two loads of washing out on the line, sunny and breezy - just right.

Cleaned the bedrooms, they are nearly empty of stuff from the redecorating. When DD2 comes over later I'm going to ask her to put some stuff in the loft and when the airing cupboard has been painted I should be able to refill that at the weekend. Nearly there.

Then we're going to the shops to get some boxes to put CDs in the sideboard. The size I hoped would fit (which was perfect for CDs) turns out to be too big for the cupboards so we'll have to try again. And I'm hoping to get a table lamp. I've picked out three from the Argos book and I'll ask her for her opinion when she gets here. I have no faith in my taste at all. She's going to help me decide where the pictures are going then DH can do that this weekend.

    Hope everyone's OK. Coffee time.

    *Turns up late*

Hi All - Can I still get that Coffee and bikkie?

Thank you all for your kind words of welcome.

I have come to the conclusion that if I try to tackle everything at once I'll burn out so going to start with the Level 1s and then see what else I can manage.

Oh and my bedroom. It's normally ok, but appears to have turned into a teenage bedroom again due to how busy I've been. I work a 10 hour/4 day week, but I'm usually away at the weekend, which leaves my one day off to do stuff!!
