Have had quite a chilled day, not cleaned kitchen DH did, took DD2 to party and collected, came home laid down for a snooze got 20mins then my mum and sister arrived they had been to car boot and had a bag of bargains for me :T. So embarrased as i was in my pj's
they stayed for 2 hours, DH has done hens for me, Te tonight is Pizza with pesto, i'm still waiting for the online shopping money to be refunded:mad: so cannot go shopping yet, so we're mix and matching ATM
.
Got something really gross to report.....one of my ironing ladies traded 6 eggs (hers) for 3 tomato Plants (ours), well DH was cooking a fry-up for us this morning.....he went to crack an egg in the pan but it was really hard to crack.....it had a chick in it:eek:. How disgusting....just shows how regularly she checks for eggs...so will not be trading again _pale_.

Lovely day today - church this morning then celebration lunch with friends celebrating their Golden Wedding. Wonderful buffet meal outdoors in their garden, chatting with loads of old friends...magic!
Not a lot (any!) OS to report on - some of you have been really busy, cooking and baking.
Me...just chilling out for once!

Evening All,
First chance I have had to post today.
Yesterday was soo productive and we got loads done. All the kitchen cupboards were cleaned out and washed with sugar soap and a new toilet seat fitted in the downstairs loo, plus all the tiles washed and same in the upstairs bathroom, Phew... we were exhausted last night
This morning managed to tidy up the front and trim the bushes and get rid of the weeds, also wiped all the windowframes and the front door over.
Then went over to Yorkshire to visit mum for lunch and had a lovely roast dinner, lamb which is my favourite:D
So back relaxing now, just have to move our youngest DS into the spare room tomorrow ready for his big brother arriving on Wednesday.
We are picking him up from Stansted and planning to call and have a wander around St Albans and have some tea as he doesn't arrive until 9.30 in the evening. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good pub meal?
Oh and thanks to those who have accepted me on facebook, just have to try and remember who is who lol
BB that is awful, that's why I don't have chickens as if I think too much about the process it puts me off eggs:o I don't think I could face them again if that had happened to me
Anyway happy Sunday evening all. J x ETA aww Lowesy she is beautifulStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Dinner was a disaster
It was a sainsburys magazine recipe which i find hit and miss most of the time anyway. It was supposed to be parmesan crumbed pork, but the flavours just didn't mix well - glad i made potato bake with it so we ate more of that instead!
OH is currently watching Hugh F-W eating one of the cake tins of rice krispie cakes i had setting the fridge, it was supposed to make 8 slices for his lunches!!
My long weekend is nearly over, but i've rejuvenated my love for OS ways which is one thing! There is another Bank holiday next weekend is there not?Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Evening all
Had a bit of an OS spurt and have cleaned the flat - kitchen swished, floors hoovered, rooms tidied, DW loaded, and just about to tackle the laundry mountain!

Awwwwww Amos off the Hotel - had me in tears - just wanted to give him a huge hug xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
 bargainbird, you've put me right off eggs again that must have been horrid. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

Go away rain!!!!!!!!!
Still have a cracked windscreen as it has tipped it down all weekend, however it has meant the house is shiny as I have taken my frustrations out!
Roasted a massive YS chicken today, so had roast dinner, another one in a tub for me to take to work tomorrow, chicken salad sandwiches for OH and DD for work tomorrow, bag of scrappy bits for cat in fridge and a pot of stock ready for something!
Have gone off the idea of boiled egg for breakfast now!!!!!!!RIP Iain
