Morning all.
We had rain too at about 4am!!!!
Anyhoo, been browsing around on the pc this morning and just bought a pair of heel inserts for my sore feet. Hopefully they will help. And I am watching some nice shoes on ebay too, recommended by a nice lady on this board who took the time to PM me.
Lunch today is an Algerian thing called mahjoba which I make maybe every 3 months. Dh looooves it ( we all do) but it takes hours to make which is why it is only done every few months.
Have a good day all.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

Morning All
Well, we all appear to still be here or this other planet is just the same! Had a good night last night at a charity do for the LU in the school, approx £1800 was raised and I danced (some would call it flailing about to the music!) the night away and thoroughly enjoyed myself. We had to take our own nibbles so I have just finished some of the lo sandwiches for my breakfast!
DD was the taxi last night as she can't drink anyway as alocohol seems to make her sick - even a small bottle of beer, and she has gone off to work this morning. Going to Sainsbugs later as I ordered some stuff on line and can collect it in store after 4 so will do my shopping there. Will also nip to ikea as I have a couple of their 'eat your own furniture' vouchers and they run out today. The two shops are near to each other so will probably have tea out too for a treat.
Did the ironing yesterday so washing is hanging about on racks. When will this rain stop? Made a hangy thing for the carrier bags yesterday from a tea towel so will sort out the kitchen drawers.
Have good Sundays all. Take care. XX0 -
Quick one from me lovely peeps!
Marathon ebay session yesterday, done circa 45 items and took me forever. Still done and dusted and what doesn't sell can go to CS so I can be rid of it.
Kids are off to granny and grandads and off to see my bruv and his kids later. So me and H are child free for the best part of the day :T
We're heading off to the Elgar Museum near Worcester, done us a healthy pasta salad for lunch very MSE :money:
Catwatch: Daisy had a more comfortable night, she's out of the oxygen tent and has been fed a little bit of mush via a syringe. She also tried to lap it up too. The staff said that she's tracking their movements with her head but they're not sure if she can see yet. Here's asking the Universe that she regains her sight as my parents don't think she'll have quality of life if she can't see and will opt for euthenasiaAnyway she's slowly improving so it's all baby steps. Thanks for all you lovely ladies asking after her and my mum and dad.
tiredmum - Good luck for this afternoon. You'll do fine xx
JG - Hope your shoulder eases xx
Bargainbird - Get thee some ice on it, for 15 mins every hour. This will help reduce any imflammation. Hope it's better and DON'T overdo it
Lou - well done on your 7 hour sleep :T You're sounding more positive at the moment which is nice to see xx
OK need to head off and enjoy our child free time woo hoo!!!
Hugs and spoons all round. Have a lovely Sunday OS or not.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Morning My lovlies
We ended up going to the pub with our good friends last night, We see them about 2/3 times a week and they are such a lovely couple, i love spending time with them. Another couple joined us whom i'm not so keen on (well the girlfriend anyway) but it was good evening..last ones to leave the pub as usual! I need to go back and pay my tab todayamazingly (not sure how!) it only came to £17.50! So will pop in later and sort it out.
OH has informed me he loves the HM bread so much i'm not allowed to buy ready made anymore! Which is quite nice - will help me build up my arm muscles! We didn't end up eating our carbonara last night and had cheese and onion sandwiches at 1am instead!
So today i need to bake some bread and get lunches sorted for tomorrow maybe tuesday too. Dinner is Parmesan crumbed pork with pots and veggies - new recipe i've not tried before so will be interesting to see how it turns out. I'm not a massive fan of pork, but it's quite cheap and OH likes it so i try to cook it once a week.
Got to do a white wash and change the sheets on our bed - the weather doesn't look like it will stay dry so might need to bring the clothes horse inside.
OH is still asleep as he's got a day off today, no doubt he will go to the yard to play tractors later anyway! Hopefully he can bring me back a tomato and a basil plant while he's there (i love being part of a family that own a garden centre!)
Hugs and goodwishes to Daisy the cat and all of you with aches and pains both physical and emotional x xAnnual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500
