Morning all, I'm not very happy this morning so I am not staying around to bring everyone down with me. Just popped on to say a quick hello before I settle down to thinking about what I really want from life, It certainly isn't DH belittling me in front of all his workmates about me only having one breast like he did last night
DD is also having a rough time so we are commiserating with each other this morning, we've both had a good cry so I hope we'll feel better soon.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Morning!
Moggins :grouphug: sorry you're a bit down today xx take care
Tru - have a lovely time in Ludlow, its beautiful there - I work there;) (but not today!)
Have got a stinking cold and sore throat so am fed up! - the house looks like a bomb site so I must get cracking and we need to pop to Leominster to Aldis to do some shopping, its all go! Dh still in bed, I had to get up and clean the holiday cottage we look after with my Mum so no lie in for me!
Have got a party to go to tonight, my uncle is 60.Lots of yummy foods there apparently. DH ans DS1 cant go as they've got a disco to do, yioung farmers dinner.
Have agreat day and hugs to those in need xxxxDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Hi everyone!
Hugs all round!! It's a lovely sunny day here in Sussex and OH has just popped in to see me at work to say hello and download the latest version of AVG free [well I do work for a computer training company with a very fast broadband connection and we only have dinosaur dial up at home:D
The first hour of work was pretty carp but everything's sorted again and I'm back and grinning. Have just sent OH out to check out some very yummy looking free range gammon I've spotted on the farmer's market which seems a good price and may be suitable for the inlaws when we visit on Boxing Day. Shall have to say what OH thinks...coming from a very small family I'm utterly hopeless at judging the quality of anything bigger than a chop:rotfl: :rotfl:
Some good news yesterday...Pet Plan have settled up for the very expensive and unexpected vets bill we incurred within three weeks of getting our rescue cat [2 days cage rest]. However, the naughty little cat still hasn't learnt how to behave...she was very unsubtly trying to nosedive into our swing bin in the middle of the night earlier in the week:rotfl: :rotfl:
OS today will be fairly limited...I've got a white wash on and I've made the beds. Plan to have a quick saunter round the town on my home to see if I can pick up some reasonably priced HM Xmas cards...some years I make them but I'm not inspired this year and I have to be realistic about the amount of free time I have now I am full time. I've managed to achieve all the HM Xmas bits I'd hoped to do. OH will make the pastry soon for our HM mince pies using the mincemeat I made. This pm I shall just flop...think I'm in serious need to a break and a rest as am rather grizzley and quick to tears at the mo over very trivial things.
Tonight it's crack open the cider [MR T on offer naturally] watch Strictly and then do the gift wrapping. Hopefully will all be done and dusted by then.
Have a great day!

DH and I were up and about quite early for a Saturday. It's the last farmers' market before Christmas, so we wanted to be down there before the rest of East Northamptonshire descended on it. Too late........... it was packed! However, we did get what we needed - and some that we didn't need! DH was tempted by the pie lady  and needless to say declared that he wanted the most expensive one! At least it'll do us for quite a few lunches... I hope. I also got some minced beef, so that'll be spag bol for tonight. I've only got a couple of tins of tomatoes (I normally use at least 3), but I'm going to put a good glug of red wine in to go with all the veggies and lentils that also go in there. There should be a decent sized portion for the freezer.
DH has also decided that he's going to make another batch of Rosemary Conley's carrot and corriander soup. He'd got some carrots from his staff shop yesterday (quite handy working for a salad and some veg producer) and corriander from our local greengrocer today..... So that'll be the freezer full for a while.
I've just checked my ebay account and one of my items actually has a bid on it! Ok, so it's at 99p but............. I'm going to get rid of at least one book. I've also just received a swap from www.readitswapit.co.uk ! I love these sites.
Anyway, I've got a lot of tidying to do. I've done so much sorting and sifting over the past week, that I need to put the things that I'm keeping back! The recycling boxes have never looked so full and the shredder has also been working overtime. Phew!
 for now.

Thanks everyone for the hugs, they do mean a lot to me this morning when I am even wondering why I bothered fighting the cancer in the first place. Normally I don't even think about just having one breast, 3 years on it's a fact of life for me and I thought he had got used to it too but one of his workmates apologised for having so much cleavage on show and he replied don't worry about it, it's nice to be able to see a decent pair for a change, when they asked what he meant he replied well Debs only has one. This was right in front of 12 of his workmates. I felt so humiliated I wanted to curl up and die but being me I managed to laugh it off and carry on throughout the evening. I can't even put it down to drink as it only happened 15 minutes after we got there
I'm so sad this morning I can't even think straight. I was only going to have the reconstruction surgery (3 more operations) next year because he wanted me to have it done, but if he puts so much importance on my physical appearance why bother? Do I then opt for Botox because I get a wrinkle? Do I go for a tummy tuck because I've had three kids? Where does it end? Surely it's the person inside who counts?Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

(((Moggins)))
Lovely and sunny here today but quite cold. Had to scrape OH's truck for ages this morning so could drop DD at stables.
Have been doing ironing, more ironing & just to make life more exciting - some washing...lol. Another couple of loads to put in the washing machine then the kids mucky horseriding/football stuff last thing. Dont mind tho coz at the end of the day at least one thing will be up straight.
Children going to mil's tonight, 1st time this year they dont really enjoy it and are only going coz she is taking them to a friends party - her house is really messy and covered in dogs hairs and her food portions are tiny - they make out they are really skint but they have pots of money in savings - doesnt bother me as I rarely go there but dont know why the kids said they would go as they are already moaning - sad isnt it - hope my kids and future grandkids dont think of me like that one day but then hopefully I wont give them any reason to. Anyway OH & myself are taking advantage and going out for a nice peaceful meal later. Cant be too late though as need to pick up DS at 7.30 in the morning for his football, his matches have been cancelled for the last month and he really doesnt want to miss that one so no lie in this weekend!
Anyway enough waffling - need to get back to the ironing.
See ya later.0
