    hi all

Bitsy-just popped in to say that Dollycat had the same thing. She broke her jaw and bruised her lungs, limped home but she came through. She had her jaw wired and the vet did a brilliant job. She was in the vet's for about 5 days and they hand fed her meds food and water. We did the same when she came home. Ummm......not cheap I'm afraid. She needed a corner to hide away( a covered cat bed like a tent ) and then we bought her a big soft bed to lie out on. She still loves this bed. It has a tiny little back to it which supported her head.

So cats cope surprisingly well with a broken jaw..........pm me if you want to. ((hugs)) to you, parents and pusscat.

Dolly is the cat in my avatar.

Thank you guys! They were a groupon offer and well worth it!! I wonder if OH notices...

Feeling very OS today...noticed our bread had gone moudly, so was going to nip out and get some...then i thought, why not make some! So there is a loaf currently rising which i shall pop in the oven shortly (OH will be pleased!) I'm also going to try and no knead loaf to bake tomorrow - if they work i think they shall become a regular in the house....the thing that used to put me off baking bread is the effort needed (hahaha) to knead the bread. Now i'm fitter it's much easier!

    thanks Gintot x

Daisy is still in intensive care, heavily sedated. She's in an oxygen tent ATM and get distressed when she's taken out of it, her body temp drops too so whilst she's holding her own it would seem she's not out of the woods yet :(
Thanks for all your good wishes.
