    Eighth Anniversary
    Hi Taplady

I make my dough in the bread machine.
For 4 large pizzas I use

    1lb 3oz strong white flour
1 and a 1/2 tsp easy bake yeast
    1 and 1/2 tbsp sugar
    1 tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil (or a lump of butter)
    300ml warm water

This works every time and I can stretch it out to 5 pizzas if all the kids are in for tea.

    Hope that this is useful

Hi Chums ,have been pottering around this morning ,mainly tidying up and a little bit of washing (mostly towels) which are dancing on the line in a lovely drying breeze. The sun is out and its quite pleasant. Rain is due for us in the south east on Sunday, might help the farmers a bit. After lunch I'm off to my history class for the afternoon so that will keep me busy.Tomorrow I am going to my DGS school engineering race.Year 6 made a go-cart that they are racing against others up at Rochester Airport so I am looking forward to seeing Jack do his stuff.I think its so good that they get all the kids involved in doing something like this especially as they're only 10-11 year olds. Jack has quite a scientific mind at the moment and loves to see how things work and what makes them tick.
Hope everyone is having a good day
    Cheers Chums JackieO xx

    Morning all

Thinking of both Silvermaid and Cranky today xx

We have the on/off weather here too today.

It's my student social worker's last day on placement with us so we are going out tonight to celebrate :D we are going straight from work for bite to eat and few drinks. My boss can't make it so she has given us £20 for the first round of drinks :). I have organised her leaving present - a gift voucher for local spa. She is mum to 3 kids, works p/t and studies f/t so needs a treat!

OS wise - made sandwiches for lunch, that's about it! :o

    Have a good day all

Just my contribution to the pizza bases conversation - I do mine in the BM, and I chuck a small scoop of poppy seeds in with the flour.;)

Two coats done, and its looking good. I couldn't find the dust sheet, think I've lent it to someone :( and have lots of wee white blotches to clean up off the laminate now. Hopefully one more coat and I can crack on with the paper which should only take an hour or so!

DBIL got his biopsy results this morning, they are clear TG but he needs to go back in for another operation. Sis is very relieved to say the least!
