    Morning All,

One night down one more to go, not a bad night just busy and noisy. Am in bed with little cat on my feet. No idea why he does that.

No idea what's for tea, possibly homemade pizza, as I need to make some bread when I get up. Sure DS won't mind as he eats anything I put in front of him so long as it's homemade!

Hope you have a good day all, it's lovely here. Big hugs to those who need one.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Morning all.

Seems like a more 'downbeat' thread today. ((((hugs)))) to those who need or want.

Jet glad your dad is recovering. I worked in a liver surgical unit, and things are moving on all the time and just getting better. Don't take it personally that the kids are wetting the bed. I hope they stop soon, but I suppose when there is illness/ upset in the family, it's less likely in the short term.

Silver Thinking about you, and hoping you get through these next days ok.

JackieG.... I know you don't want the rain.....can you send it down this way please? We are desperate!!!

Have to get up to water the lottie today as it is too dry and I don't want my baby tomato plants to die. Won't do any digging though. My back has just about had it for the week, and I want to have a break from it.

May go and treat myself to new trainers. I have plantar tendon fasciitis so get sore heels if I wear flats. And can't wear heels either. So I have been living in one pair of trainers for the past 3 years. Thankfully they don't smell, but they are starting to get uncomfortable as they are wearing thin in places. I wish I could find something that is comfy for lots of walking, but that looks good with a skirt too!!!

I gutted the kids' room yesterday, so today I am just going to s&s bathroom and kitchen, and hoover and mop downstairs.

Have a good day all. Off for a wee browse before I start doing stuff.

Morning all! Day off today, but have an appointment in town at 11 so have been in abit of a rush. Walked the dog, tidied the house and had a bath ( a bird pooed on my head whilst we were out!!!)

Still haven't been paid so i get to pay the role of debt collector today to find out where our money is!!!

Our freezer semi broke last night so had to turn the old fridge on to save some of the food. It didn't defrost totally so think we've saved most of it!

Jet- glad your dad is making a recovery!

Need to sit down and work out accounts etc later today, am hoping for a relaxing afternoon as am helping my dad get his house ready to put on the market tomorrow.

    Morning!

having a quiet day at home today. Got some jobs to do. Went and took DS1 a box of groceries and some saucepans, phone top up and some petrol money yesterday. He's lost his saucepans somehow in moving house and hasn't been able to cook for weeks!
He's got an interview/meeting at another radio station this morning so fingers crossed he gets some work out of it.

WM is on its second load. Have had a quick swish downstairs this morning, might change the bedding later too., cars need cleaning, lawns need mowing plus am sorting carboot stuff out.

HM pizzas for tea tonight with "find it in the fridge" toppings.

and here too - how do you make your bases? I usually use a pizza base mix from Aldi's but have run out. I have dried yeast and bread flour so could use a good 'easy' recipe:)
DS2s GF is coming for tea and she loves my pizzas.

    (((hugs))) to silver maid

Beemuzed - hope DS is soon discharged x x x

Jet - glad your Dad is on the mend, you have my sympathy re wet beds as DS2 did it for years!

JackieG - good luck with the MOT and DSs bedroom! x

    take care all x

    Morning All

Lovely day here so I hunted for some more washing so that I can get it on the line ( a quick surf of the kids rooms and I found 2 loads worth :undecided)

JackieG send us some rain pleeeeeeese. My poor garden is parched.
We will probably get it all in June.

DS has his A level algebra exam today and next week he has one or two exams every day and he has an interview at college on Tuesday. His last exam isn't till the 6 June so he will be stressing out up until then.

    Morning all,

Sunny when I got up, 30 mins ago a downpour, now sunny again, going to town by noon to meet cousin and partner who are coming for weekend, will need to be prepared for rain or shine....hate that when I'm not driving as will have to walk but hate the hassle of parking....and what it costs, something like €3 per hour!!

    Cranky and George...hugs.

    Silvermaid and family...hugs

Really need to go and shower.....by the way Bramble, a bird pooing on your head is allegedly lucky, if a nuisance!

Will probably have lunch in town so tea will be a sandwich or some such have lots of stuff in fridge so that won't be a problem.

    Have a good day all
