Agreed, I love the taste of this Finest food, but geez the calories and saturated fats in it are horrendous.

Just half a tub of the Finest Mash equates to 97% of the recommended daily intake of Saturated fat (19g) for an adult. Add in the sat fat from all the other ingredients and you can this finest food isnt great for the waist line.

On another note, it tastes soo good, so once in a while is ok i guess!

A Quidco rep just posted in the Quidco/Tesco life insurance topic. They mentioned how 'dismayed' Tesco were about people taking advantage of that offer.

Bet they love us in here then!!

Big Tesco Brother is definately watching us, you really would think they could find more productive things to do :wall:

Like lowering the price of the wine to stop the glitch? ;)
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p

Yep, they are watching and hate every minute of it, I guess. As soon as one loophole is slammed shut, we'll find another and another and you guess it........................another. :rotfl:

    Helpful do you think ?
  • I can't now see the Turner Road Merlot on the Tesco site where they list what you can choose for the meal deal. Does that mean we need to choose the Chardonnay?

Just done my 4th shop on this deal. The second time when handing in my voucher and receipt the women at the till was clueless and had to call a supervisor to ask what to do. My way of thinking is that if you hand them the voucher and receipt together they get confused, so my next 2 shops i just handed them the voucher and they just scanned them without question and not asking for the receipt.
If you don’t speculate, you can’t accumulate.
  • Well after Tesco telling my DH the other day that offer was finished!! I have just been to the same store and bought 3 of the meal deals..of course as you all quite rightly pointed out my DH got the beef which is no longer in the deal so I picked up the correct things and it all went through.

Just wanted to check though that its ok that I bought 3 of the deals on the same receipt and I will get the voucher for all 3 deals, is that correct?

    Thanks

I suspect they make more from the people thinking they got a great deal on a 10 quid bottle of wine than they lose to people playing the system. Lets face it, if the wine was 4 quid then the whole meal deal would only save you 4 quid off the normal cost. I bet lots of people buy it on impulse because they think they are getting a better bargain than they really are.
