Cheese freezes fine, like the other posters says maybe a bit crumbly when you defrost and use it.

On the the subject, the cheesecake packs, as packaged freeze fine too! :money:

Also, if the cheese selection is OOS in the meal deal fridges, don't be tempted to buy the 'finest' cheese selection on the cheese aisle.

The packs on the meal deal are 290g and the packs in the cheese 'area', whilst looking identical (not the image on the website) are 510g, will set you back £6.50 and destroy you money saving -ness!! ;)

    Ok, under the FAQ section..
    1. Does this apply to products that are on promotion in Asda?
Yes - all Multisaver (e.g. Buy one get one free, 3 for the price of 2 offers) and Price Cut promotions (e.g. was £1.00, now £0.90) published on Asda's Grocery website are included. We do not include Linksaver deals (e.g. Meal Deals) or deals across whole Categories (e.g buy 6 wines, get 5% off) for either Tesco or Asda.

Hmmm. Since this has just been added i'm less than optimistic at this time!

This is not a new t & c it was there last week when we were tipped off about the Turners working with the meal. I commented on it at the time, although really hoping I was wrong. Which I am happy to say I was. First for me that!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To the person who left your trolley in the middle of the Halifax Aachen road store with a meal deal with a bottle of Turner's in it; WHY!? I thought I was going to see a fellow friend of Martin, but alas, I had to console myself with several chicken and ham (first time my store has had these) and other such goodies.

Oh, and even though I've checked several times before, and the girl on the till had "taken them all of sale", I still managed to find 15 bags of Hello Kitty eggs and 6 of the Cars/Buzz ones :D

PS - the 37p chiller value garlic bread is yummy with pasta and meatballs. To all those buying the 2Kg bag of spaghetti because it's on offer at £1.24 - STOP! Buy 4 lots of the value one 500g x 4 = 2Kg for the grand total of 80p. It's the same bloody thing!

I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

  • Can't believe my OH was told the deal was off when you've all clearly bought the deal since what a cheek! I didn't get time to go yesterday after work so I will try today but I will have to write down what is on the deal so I don't get the wrong thing like OH did. I didn't order online it seemed pointless with paying delivery so I'll see if I'm lucky today.

I have placed an order this morning for online delivery this evening. Made sure I requested Turners chardonnay or merlot only :)
I dont mind paying £3 delivery for 2 meal deals and some eggs/bread, as it would cost me £5 bus fare and heaps of time to get to my 'local' Tesco otherwise. I am totally addicted to the chicken with cheese and ham!
Please God, help me stop spending!
