£10 Tesco Meal deal for £4.07

Don't waste your time asking the staff in store - most of them don't know their a*** from their elbow so far as deals and prices are concerned! You need to look at the Tesco website for the Finest meal deals and then only buy the items that have the yellow icon stating the item is on special offer. Some stores seem to have stuff in the Deals chiller that shouldn't be there - either becasue the staff have re-stocked with the wrong items or because customers have dumped stuff back in the wrong place.
Don't take any nonsense from them if they say you can't buy Turners wine with the Meal Deal food items either ! They can't dictate what you put in your basket and, if you want to buy Turners then thats your choice! If it goes through as part of the Deal, thats great - if it doesn't then tell the staff to void the whole lot (its therr fault if its wrong, not yours). Turners Chardonay is clearly listed as included in the deal so it SHOULD go through (I've never found the red wine on the list though so haven't chanced that).
Awww, go on, chance it...you know you want to.
After all, as you say, there's always the void option.0 -
I didn't think that was a new condition ? I thought it meant it wouldn't compare a whole deal ie wouldn't compare a Tesco £10 Meal Deal with say a £7 Asda Meal Deal. But it does compare individual items such as the wine (and its in our best interests if all the other items come up as N/A).
that's exactly RIGHTworks in our favour so no reason to worry about it

sorry to be a pain - i tried to get the £10 deal today, i put
Turners merlot
chicken cheesymain meal
rosemary roast potatoes
mocha tarts
all bar the wine were in the £10 promotion chiller, but it went through the till at £22. what have i done wrong for it not to work?!
I think its the mocha tarts as i had this problem saturday - despite the cardboard actually being printed with finest meal deal in silver (not just even a sticker) I don't think its actually included- gotta love tescos logic!"You've got to cut your cloth to suit your wassname" Terry (my Dad), 1944-present0 -

I DO want to - but I can't cos my local ones don't stock the Merlot! Still, I got a fair few bottles from DTD before they spoiled my fun and when it was worth going further to get it.ELITE 5:2

iv had a security guard follow me around and be at the end of most isles on 4 different occasions so today i got brave and decided to confront him(iv never done anything like this before but felt i had no choice)
i expected him to say sorry for making me feel like this and he was just doing his job but i guess he didnt like me doing this
i asked him was there a problem to which he got his back up and started to argue with me in the store:o:o
Poor you, must have been horrible
I had a Sainsbury guard following me round all the aisles once - the next time I went in he did it again. So as soon as I went round the corner I turned round and stood still so when he shot round the corner after me he found me looking him square in the face, and had to stop sharp to avoid headbutting me. He stopped following me!
I think they just have to choose someone, anyone.
In our small local the guards follow me as I look at 10p whoopsies and ignore the youths who are filling their jackets with stock and walking outside to drink it jeering in through the windows! You never know how far-reaching something good, that you may do or say today, may affect the lives of others tomorrow0 -

Who would say I couldn't make you mine? You were mine since th' beginning of time. Who would say we were far apart? You ever reside in the core of my heart?
