Did you split your shopping into two, Heather?
Because the voucher will be capped at £20.

I think you're right a1cat. Last night before I purchased the chicken and asparagus I asked customer services to check the price with a steak diane combo (same wine, side and dessert), but they came up at full price.

All the items on the website, to be fair were on the end of the aisle at my local branch even though over half were out of stock the sel was still there indicating the items were in the deal.

However the only wine there was Ogio, thats why I took a trip down the wine aisle for turner road merlot. Nothing on the sel for the turner road suggested this was in the meal deal either.

    I did get my £5 off a £40 spend off though:A

Does this take the headline price as its guide? Ie the full price of the items BEFORE meal deal?

Yes, I can't fault my store, they had the right food items in the right place and there wasn't much room for wine anyway so having to go to the wine aisle not a problem.

    But ONLINE is VERY misleading.

darn - unfortunately no! oh well - the £5 off kind helps make for it i guess.
knew it was too good to be true!

oh well - now i'll be mad at myself for the rest of the evening!
I miss using my infinite coupons at Tesco!
2010 was the worst year ever :(
But 2011 so far has been a lot of fun! :j

I totally agree, before I left to go shopping last night I looked on the website and thought all listed items below the main headline of 1 main, 1 side, 1 dessert and wine for £10 were included in the offer.

Has anyone had any problems getting the price checker to work? it says "sorry we cant match your details" Yet this is the email address I get my order confirmations to and I am entering the correct order number and postcode. Any ideas?

Just spent half an hour at CS and ended up with dtd on one of the deals- but I think I was lucky to get it. Focusing on the wine I had one white and one red Turner- but one meal didn't go through. So at CS they thought it was because the wine wasn't from the cabinet. After much running around checking I said I didn't mind- I'd take another bottle of white. So I was refunded- but then it wouldn't work with the bottle of white they got. Turned out to be a rogue pair of chicken and gruyere pies which were badged with meal deal but not on the SEL. Because of all the confusion I got dtd- but I don't think I should have as it wasn't on the SEL. Though for the hassle I deserved it...I ended up with two receipts- can I claim them bot today under my name or would I need to claim one with another email. Although I was big on RnR I haven't dabbled in this up till now- why not???! It is great!:j

Did you partake in the Double The Difference jape last month where we all made £100s if not £1000s? :D

    Seriously.
