If no Turners Road Merlot in the store tomorrow will try First Cape Limited Merlot in Tesco £7.99 and £4.00 in Asda.

Funny, they are simply not interested over at HDUK http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/cheap-eats-tesco-buy-wines-10-finest-meal-deal-submit-voucher-price-check-cost-4/941759?page=2 I guess we are cleverer than that lot, some cheeky monkey suggested that I scan a receipt to prove it, best place for the receipt would have been shoved up his nether regions :D:beer::D:beer:

:rotfl:you must be 1 stray... cat! Why would you want to go there when all your friends are here:D Didn't you get enough "thank":D;). Wish me luck me going to get mine now if there is any left!

It was just a bit of effort to try and give them a decent deal, a way of saying thanks I guess: I have had a lot of good tips off HDUK over the years ...but it's true they are more interested in squabbling about how cheaply they can build a computer vs the one in the deal etc, just a bunch of spotty nerds over there I reckon :D:D:D:D:D

Probably don't eat real food just crisps so not interested :rotfl:

I WOULDN'T do that as it's NOT in the meal deal wines - so defeats the object!

went to customer services explaining that i had looked online before shopping - but was told individual stores have different meals in the deals???? Has anyone else come across this? Didn't know if I should ring and querie with someone at head office. In the end had to settle to for a wine I didn't really want and pies instead of kievs!!

'Tescoism' alert - totally fabricated :rotfl:

What he/she should have said is.........'Sir/Madam, we only have so much room in our refrigerated department allocated to deals. The others are certainly available, but you will find them elsewhere. As for the wine, would you like me to call somebody from the wine dept. to locate it for you. Sorry for your inconvenience'.
Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies

Not sure anybody has had the merlot confirmed yet :)

I can confirm that the Merlot definitely still works with the deal. I just bought 2 deals, one with the Chardonnay & one with the Merlot; the receipt total was £20. ;)

Ta but nobody seems to have confirmed they already got the difference back yet on Merlot is what I meant.

Whereas plenty of people are reporting that Chardonnay brings up a voucher.

Yes I have. Last night bought and input receipt into pricehecker :-

    2 chicken with asparagus
    2 Rosemary potatoes
    1 pack tartes citron(lemon tart)
    1 pack belgian chocolate puddings

    2 turner road merlot

Total price £20. Recieved a voucher for £11.86 today.

Wasn't much choice in my local branch, Merthyr Tydfil and the turner road was located in the wine aisle not with meal deal items.

Will def be visiting again, hopefully they'll have a bit more selection, if not bring on the chicken and asparagus!

    Many thanks to OP. :T:j
