bah, I've only just encountered this thread, but the deal is off :(

If anyone doesn't know about the stuff in the thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3274688 you can combine coupons from supersavvyme and the tesco price check to get washing-up liquid, ariel stain remover and lenor absolutely free :)

    Then Tesco have deliberately cheated.

They haven't stuck by their own rules, ie not allowed comparison of the meal deal items (in the context of a meal deal purchase) to the same items in Asda.

What they have done is make TR a non valid product for Price Check.

I dont think we will ever work out how Mr T works out what to compare or what to N/a.

I had some of the meal deal compare before during the meal deal glitch.

Wonder if watchdog would be interested in the fact that tesco are deliberately withdrawing items from price check guarantee once they're proven to be cheaper at asda. We all have proof they were price matched previously. ;)

How can they not price match the same product when bought as a stand alone item? That really is cheating and blatant misadvertising of the price checker.

The person who bought that wine should stand firm and complain. Screenshot the Asda price and then their receipt.

isnt it good that they have removed it, means they havent rectified the glitch so if another one comes up it will work for a bit

a1cat or was it stebiz?, did you get a letter from ASA? Remember we were all wondering what happen to our price check after we submitted our receipts & Tesco make us waited for more than 3 days before they sent it to us. And we all thought that price check was over & done with by Tesco without informing the customers. Well, I got a hard copy from ASA - basically - sorry we can't help you Tesco did nothing wrong. Can scan & post if you guys wanna read it.

Think I'm sith you on this now, fella. I'm just scared of going in and buying any of the glitches in case I simply don't get DTD because I "know".

How many do you think you can buy for it not to be flagged etc?!
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.
