All it means is the money you got from the original DTD process say 200 to 300 quid was converted to 200 quid of RTD vouchers from the meal deals... you got all the food for 100 quid say and the other 200 quid back extended from original DTD process.

Meal deals didn't 'make' money if you did it legit as you say. every 20 quid DTD voucher 'lost' 8 quid.

    In English please?

I'd really like to know what all this means and how you can actually make money from Tesco meal deals. Thanks :)

Agree with the points above but would be interesting to see if vouchers come back for "Turner Road" stand alone purchases.

Hi. Just been to tescos and bought TR as a stand alone, so will report back, when / if voucher comes in.

Jodie, I didn't say you did something wrong... We all do whatever we think is right and I don't judge anyone...

However I think it sometimes makes people jealous when they know how much someone else has got... that's all
Thanks for clarifying - cos sometimes it seems like people get labelled 'jealous' just for questioning whether certain actions are illegal. me personally, i like to know how much people were fortunate enough to get on the various glitches - i live too far from T's to ever compete, but perfectly happy with getting my 'fix' of a bargain as and when I can. Have to say though, not remotely jealous of anyone who got 'attacked' by the security guards...so anyone reading can make of it what they like, i know what i think, and i know what some people are doing - like you say, we all do what we think is right or what we think we will be happy with - best we all recognise if someone pushes the boundaries further than someone else would want to do, and is happy to post about it on an open forum, don't be surprised or upset if someone else comes along and disagrees/questions/criticises.

Meal deal is indeed on until the 7th; however they have decided to fix the glitch which allowed Turners Road to still be price matched even though it was part of the meal. Therefore, no voucher any more. They will no doubt still match the Turners if you bought it on it's own.

Looks like this is another victim of the tesco price check change in terms and conditions. Note the absence of meal deals in store deals (it use to be on there).

"Price comparisons for in-store purchases are based on what the customer actually buys and the date of purchase or delivery. This includes price reductions and promotions (such as "half price" and "buy one get one free") but not store or category wide promotions such as “buy 6 bottles of wine and get 5% off” or linksave promotions (such as "buy cheese and get crackers free"). These are excluded as it is difficult to make fair comparisons. Products that are purchased on a "reduced to clear" basis will be compared at the price paid at till."

You buy Turners at Tesco for £9.99, Asda would have been £4.06; therefore you get a voucher for £5.93. Turners therefore still costs you £4.06 - doesn't matter where you buy it. Not sure where you are getting the £1.87 from?
