I've done what you suggest, but all I get is this message:

    Thank you

Thanks for sending us your receipt details.
We are now checking and you will receive an email from us as soon as your results are ready. At the latest you will hear from us in the next 36 hours (but it will probably be sooner).
Please hold onto your receipt or delivery note, as you may need this in order to redeem a voucher.
Whilst you are waiting, why not check out our great online deals on Tesco.com.

My guess is that the first time you input your reciept, you must have accidenentally put a wrong number in, because normally if you re in put the same receipt, you get the message back saying. "We are still processing....." but as you did not get this I think you probably did it wrong the first time. So I think you will get 2 emails back, one saying, we re unable to find your receipt details (for the time you input wrongly) and the second one will be your voucher. It's really easy to read the numbers wrong particularly 6 and 8's.

You say the e-mail/voucher is usually 'there'. Can you please explain to this noob :p where 'there' is?

    Thanks!
when you submit the details again on the price check website, when you press submit you then get a page that shows your receipt and details against asda and a letter sayings whoops we were xxxxxx dearer than asda. Then at the bottom it says print your voucher.
It then opens up your voucher and you print it.

I have heard of people re submitting the deatails lots of times, maybe you did not put in the correct details first so will have to wait again till tomorrow :D

Ok, I now get this message:

    Price Check Update

Thanks for entering your receipt details.
This receipt is already being processed, and you should receive your email soon so that you can view your results and see your shop compared to ASDA.
Please make sure that you keep your original receipt, as you may need it later on.

Hence you were right in assuming that I had inserted the wrong numbers the first time round.... how very silly of me!!!
    :mad::mad::mad:

I guess then, the wait must continue......:(

On a different point, I read in the post by Blobby8 above that you should pay cash and not use the Clubcard?

    He/She says:
... take your choice, one side, one main, one sweet.
Go to Mr t and buy a side, a main, and a sweet, + a bottle of turner road, costs £10 (pay cash, no club card), imput details into T price checker.....

I cannot for the life of me understand why I should not use the Clubcard -or pay cash for that matter- could someone elucidate?

Because the T&C say you can only have £100 of vouchers a month and can only input 10 per month.

Using a Clubcard makes this enforceable
Paying by cash makes it untraceable
Using multiple e-mail addresses allows you to enter more than 10/£100 worth per month

These are tried and tested methods employed by seasoned DTD'ers and now also applies to the RTD scheme.

One reason for doing this is the way Tesco count a month and how they count the £100, and both are seemingly against the customer so the customer fights back and works the system.
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)

There is a limit of £100 per month. If someone is buying for someone else perhaps a friend or relative, then using a bank card and
claiming points could enable you to be traced and the difference stopped.

if however you just do your own shopping and will not exceed the £100 per month then use any cards you like.

Obviously, multiple email addresses are used as you are dealing with other people's shopping as well as your own!

    I see!

Thanks all for clarifying this. I was a bit puzzled at first but now I understand. In any case, I do not expect to exceed any of the T&C limits *** so I will use Clubcard /debit card to pay.

    Exactly. :)
I've not gone over the top with this. There is a limit to what we can eat & my freezer is already stuffed. (No, not DTD. I already had a full freezer as I regularly buy whoopsied joints etc & special offers.)
I've quite happily used my clubcard & debit card.

We start a new month to-day anyway & the offer finishes on the 7th.;)

I'm using a clubcard because I wont be going over my limit as the meal deal ends in a few days, and I don't think there will be a similar offer to replace it giving such a good TD.

Having said that, it would seem they haven't restocked the shelves since the offer started so I couldn't go over my limit if I tried for lack of sides and mains. :p
