Is my maths on this right

    If I buy 4 meal deals £40

I have a £4 Tesco till spit when you spend £20
I have a £4 Sainsburys till spit when you spend £40
I have a £2 Sainsburys till spit when you spend £20
    I have a £5.93 DTD voucher

It should take the price down to £24.05

But I should get a capped DTD voucher back for £20 meaning 4 meals cost me £4

BTW my Tesco is really good for taking till spits, so I don't see a problem.

Haha, well I make it £24.07, but we won't split hairs.:D
That should be fine, just make sure you hand over your £4 off £40 to be scanned first. :)

haha not sure I can afford that 2p  :rotfl:

Anyway, can I just make sure that the Turner Road Chardonnay is included as it isn't showing up on my Tesco meal deal page. I want the Merlot but they may not have 4 bottles in stock so need a back up.

It is, I've bought both, & both are still there for me.

Errr, yes, of course, we all know it's on offer for £1 at Asda's at the moment...
However, I was answering a question as to how the comparisons were made, whether it was full price against full price or offer price against offer price.
For example, Asda's full price on the pepperoni is £2.77 so if they were doing it full price v full price, there would only be a 2p return. As they are not though, there will be a £1.79 return. Quite a difference & worth the question if the poster was unclear wouldn't you say?

Oh, yes - but I just thought I'd clarify it a bit.

Yeah, that one works for me. I clicked on a link from the previous page, don't know why it didn't show using that link because I am never signed into Tesco. Thanks for the help.

LL, have you done these before? I mean giving them 2 same till spit from Sainsbury.

My T will not let me do that unless my groceries exceed "£60" ( combine both till spits total). And another T store will not let me use the same conditional spend till spits from the same Supermarket.

If you have done it before - its fine but if you have not done it before - bewarn that they will reject one of the till spit.

Sent my OH to Tesco today for 3 meal deals, with a voucher accompanied with original receipt.

    Sounds easy enough.

She has just come back with TODAY'S receipt signed by the SA.

So I've got a receipt already signed before I have even input the details into the Price Check....so it's useless :(:(

Try taking it back to CS & explain. they may print you a new one. They should be able to see you haven't had time to input the details & receive a voucher back yet.

They did the same to 1 of my receipts and had no trouble using it! also on a couple of occasions when i have gone to CS for DTD where they have overcharged me, again no problem.

    Thanks,

It's about an hour round-trip, and I've got mobility problems...so I'll just take it on the chin.
