    Think it stands for refund and retain... so basically free items :)

    Thanks for the reply but still not sure what you mean - you buy something and take it back for a refund and still keep the item? How? or was it a price error thing?

    My DH went and bought this meal deal this afternoon. The cashier realised it hadn't come to £10 and took off the wine on the receipt and added it back on as a reduced item at £3.50...no £5.96 refund for me now. DH didn't think to just return it to CS....wouldn't mind but just had the meal and it was not good :(

    Won't be long until we find another Tesco deal - their marketing dept is staffed by morons :D

    They should not have cheated on DTD by pulling it with no reasonable notice.

    I lost at least £10.

    I will punish them for the next few years by finding glitches like this

    :beer::D:rotfl::D:beer:

    Reports of your banning on the now removed DTD thread were greatly exaggerated then (or have you since had your privileges reinstated)?

    Did Trading Standards or ASA take them to task for their withdrawal of DTD?

    Not sure why they did it, just had a message IP address banned, account suspended, couldn't be bothered to ask why.

    As I never posted a sour word, or a fraudulent word, in fact I'm whiter than white and always speak up for the little guy, I knew I had done no wrong. ;)

    Try getting your money back another way then. Either complain about the meal to Tesco or take the wine back and get £3.50 back as it is not showing as part of the meal deal now so they cannot refuse to refund it on it's own;)
