2. Wedding theme or colour scheme? None for ceremony: party 2 weeks later will be 1940's theme.

3. Thing you have splashed out most on? Rings cost nearly £200! (both together)

4. Best bargain? Dress from M&Co online using vouchers out of Prima.

5. Stupidest thing you decided that you had to have (before getting engaged) and now dont care about? None, didn't want anything.

6. Venue? Registry office.

7. Engagement ring? £60 "vintage" sapphires on white gold, ie from a second hand dealer.

8. Describe your partner in 5 words Solid, decent, kind, caring, surprising

9.First Dance song? No idea. Whatever the DJ picks! Possibly Always Look on the Bright Side of Life.

10. Biggest panic moment so far? MiL wants to "do" things and we have to let her have some of her own way...she suddenly decided to "do" flowers, but it's only me and fella and 2 witnesses at the registry office. My mum is agoraphobic so cannot come, so we decided to have NO-ONE and NO FAMILY at the ceremony, cos it is unfair for one mother to be there and not the other - but am still a little worried MiL might just turn up anyway.

11.Biggest Bride/Groomzilla moment? Some people were rather shocked it's a private do with no family and just 2 witnesses...but I am insistent. And feel a little bad about it.

12. Worst fear about the wedding day Unexpected guests (see above) with good intentions but it would hurt my mum too much if they (other people, MiL) did turn up, I'd be so upset.

13. Number of guests? At ceremony - 2! At party after the honeymoon - about 100.

14. The one person who has helped you more than anyone during the planning My bloke. Not much to plan, really.

15. Flavour of cake Haven't got cake yet, but we've got 2 weeks to go. Plenty of time. (isn't it?)

Either 6 years or 2 years. :-) We were together for a year, 6 years ago but my ill health and his ex/unexpected child/family issues, and our mutual immaturity and my own selfishness, meant we split up. Stayed friends. I vetted any prospective girlfriends of his, and NONE were good enough for him. Then the penny dropped...

18. Favourite TV or Movie wedding? Don't have a tv, so really couldn't say.

19. Piece of advice you would give anyone who is planning their wedding Chill! Have a party.

6. Venue? A Feathers hotel in South Warrington.

9.First Dance song? No bloody idea, we always said it would be Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls, but now we can't decide.

10. Biggest panic moment so far? We rang to book the registrar (we could not reserve more than a year in advance), they told us there were no 2pm slots available just 12:30 and 3:30 - nothing that would fit in with our plan of the day

11.Biggest Bride/Groomzilla moment? My OH is currently out with his mum looking at suits woe betide him if we comes back with something I don't like! :rotfl:

12. Worst fear about the wedding day People getting bored between the photography and the wedding meal (ceremony 2pm, sit down meal 5pm) Should lay on some more entertainment but we just can't afford it!)

13. Number of guests? 45 day, 100 night

14. The one person who has helped you more than anyone during the planning OH - he brings in the most money lol!

15. Flavour of cake Cake? Oh *&$%! I knew I'd forgotten something!

16. Rate your own :money: MSEness out of 10 6, although we blew lots on the honeymoon and venue everything else is being done so I get best value out of the money.

18. Favourite TV or Movie wedding? I can't think of one!

Piece of advice you would give anyone who is planning their wedding Seek opinions from as FEW people as possible who are going to the wedding (you OH and main financial contributor) as otherwise everyone will stick their 2p in and then you'll feel guilty for not being able to please everyone! Also when acquaintances (or someone you don't intend to invite to the whole day) ask when the wedding is just say the month and year because we had people saying "ohhh that's a Friday - I'd better book it off work" assuming they were invited!!

5. Stupidest thing you decided that you had to have (before getting engaged) and now dont care about? hmm... nothing really. There are lots of stupid things that I would sort of like now but not bothered about, like a horse and carriage like the one in Oklahoma!

6. Venue? Marquee in a field in beautiful countryside

7. Engagement ring? .3carat solitaire, suspended setting in platinum

8. Describe your partner in 5 words Hilarious, sensible, caring, sexy, ace

9.First Dance song? Secret! I think we will get a dj friend to do a little bit of a mashup, just a few seconds on a number of songs, so we can do a few different types of dancing and not have too much pressure to entertain!

10. Biggest panic moment so far? When my bridesmaid couldn't come to try on wedding dresses because she "had" to go to the football!

11.Biggest Bride/Groomzilla moment? None so far...

12. Worst fear about the wedding day Rain in a way, but that will be fine really... maybe people getting smashed and crashing into the cake

13. Number of guests? Well I will know when OH finally sits down and says who he wants! Probably 100 in the day and 50 more at night

5. Stupidest thing you decided that you had to have (before getting engaged) and now dont care about? Nothing really - in fact I've gone the other way. I always said I'd get a 2nd hand dress & get married on the Britannia Hotel package - but I've spent nearly £600 on a new dress & £3k on the venue!

6. Venue? It's a mercure hotel

7. Engagement ring? was his mum's engagement ring from his dad. She got an upgrade & I got this one! i absolutley love it though! It's way more blingy than I would have had the guts to choose. It also means so much that she wanted to give it to me

10. Biggest panic moment so far? That the venue isn't perfect. But it was available, had an offer on and will be fab on the day!
