2. Wedding theme or colour scheme? Theme - Italian vintage travel/brown&ivory

3. Thing you have splashed out most on? Dress omg Ian stuart bargain from ebay

4. Best bargain? My bridesmaids who were, wedding planners, make up artists, opinion makers and pschologists all in one! They were wonderful and don't think I could have done it without them. Best Actual bargain was my chair covers 99p per chair and they put them on and took them down :beer:

5. Stupidest thing you decided that you had to have (before getting engaged) and now dont care about?...... bought another pair of shoes for the evening but never used.... erm erm not sure about anything else?

6. Venue? Donington Manor, really helpful but we ran out of food and as we looked to them for advise as it was a buffet we relied on them for. Doing it again we would have had a proper sit down and not a buffet as the queing was embarasseing as was the running out of food In everything else they were superb

7. Engagement ring? 18ct White gold 0.25ct sweet little ring

8. Describe your partner in 5 words warm, funny, King Barista, soulmate, best friend

9.First Dance song? It had to be you sung by our Frank sinatra impressionist Andrew Beasley - amazing!!

10. Biggest panic moment so far? When they ran out of food, when MIL diagnosed with Cancer, not deciding favours until last minute

11.Biggest Bride/Groomzilla moment? mum trying to insist that we have a car to take us the 100 yards from the church to hotel!, my father having a hissy fit about not being on the middle table (due to Daves MIL not being there and his father taking off soon after wedding we put family on tables with family and had friends on our middle table)

12. Worst fear about the wedding day? Tripping up going down the aisle I am a clumsy clutz so bought flat shoes so there would be no way

13. Number of guests? 85 all day and evening

14. The one person who has helped you more than anyone during the planning? Sian /Rocio both BMS who were stunning

15. Flavour of cake - chocolate and vanilla

16. Rate your own :money: MSEness out of 10 - 7 - Decorations were all bought off ebay, Save the dates sent via facebook and invites via a website, used our own cars, and friends made tiaras, cakes, signs, did makeup and hair ourselves (mostly)

17. How long will you have been together on your wedding day? 8 years and something or other days

18. Favourite TV or Movie wedding? ... not sure...

19. Piece of advice you would give anyone who is planning their wedding - don't rush it, we did for a number of reasons - although we had a fab day and really enjoyed it and love being married. I do wish we had done what we originally thought of which was go to Italy. Due to MIL being so ill if we had done this it wouldn't have gone ahead...
Also wish we had waited to have it in May - rushed to get it through in April as room costs was cheaper but the amount we spent would have swallowed that up anyway!!
Wish we had thought beyond the buffet and had the wedding a bit earlier as seemed a bit rushed re first dance etc
Wish we had insisted on cake being served with desserts as had loads left which we had to throw
Wish we had had proper dance lessons
Wish I had put together a list of photos wanted as got loads of amazing ones just one or two I wish I had got.

4. Best bargain? hmm, there two: all the wedding flowers for £40, dinner and pudding for 52 people - £370: fish and chips and a 99ice cream

Stupidest thing you decided that you had to have (before getting engaged) and now dont care about? expensive wedding rings - cos of baby on the way budget changed a great deal, so we got our rings from argos, both white gold and nothing wrong with them: lot cheaper than other jewlers as they are plain bands.

6. Venue? Colchester Rugby CLub

7. Engagement ring? white gold band with a zig zag 'twist' and 7 little diamonds in a 'flower' shape. Means a lot to me as found out since that because OH was made redundant halfway through paying for it so was selling dvd's, old phones, etc to make the money to pay the remainder.

8. Describe your partner in 5 words my very own prince charming!

9.First Dance song? Can you feel the love tonight - elton john.

10. Biggest panic moment so far? my biggest panic moment was my bridesmaid dresses - needed plain black dresses in certain budget and could not find anything suitable for ages!!

11.Biggest Bride/Groomzilla moment? my sister deciding halfway through my hair trial that she didnt like the style that she had (which was same as the other three bridesmaids) and she wanted the style i had chosen!

Worst fear about the wedding day my dress not fitting and being too small because of growing bump... infact had complete oppoiste, i had lost weight and it was too big! also the weather too - we had photos taken outside in castle park, so didnt want it to rain, but didnt want it as hot as had been over the week as i just would not have coped!!

13. Number of guests? 50 for the day, another 50ish for the evening

14. The one person who has helped you more than anyone during the planning my husband - we did pretty much all of the planning ourselves, making invites, table plans, favours, flowers etc - he was amazing.

15. Flavour of cake we had a fruit cake on the top of the stand to cut, then had small cupcakes which were vanillia and had vanilla iceing on the top with a black mickey mouse shape face and glitter

16. Rate your own :money: MSEness out of 10 7, would have originally said lower if the wedding had still been in june, but we cut down on a lot of things and saved lot more money.

17. How long will you have been together on your wedding day? we were together 5 years and 1 month

18. Favourite TV or Movie wedding? hmm not sure, prob some sort of disney one to be honest - given the theme of the day, lol.

Piece of advice you would give anyone who is planning their wedding try not to stress out - the little details we all panic over in the end are things that work out well, things go for a reason. if you have something you want to include then go for it - we had lots of questioning looks when said hot pink and orange with black shirts and dresses for BM/GM - but on the day it looked fantastic and everyone commented on it... we stuck with what we wanted, a fun friendly day with a quiz, fun dinner and laughter, take what you want and put it into the day, you dont have to copy other people or have a wedding that you think you should have, if you want something thats 'untraditional' then if its what you want go for it!! try and enjoy the planning and when the day happens enjoy and treasure it all - the day does go quite fast, and once that nights over - you are not the bride or the planning bride.... sounds silly and obvious but makes sense at the time!

1. Wedding date? 25th June 2011 - 5 weeks tomorrow and counting! (My footer says 24th June, that is when we do the deed at the registry office as you cant get married outside in England, we will class 25th June as our wedding day/anniversary etc)

2. Wedding theme or colour scheme? No real overall theme, very thrown together, bridesmaid is wearing peach

3. Thing you have splashed out most on? Honeymoon - 2 weeks safari and beach holiday in Kenya and Zanzibar

4. Best bargain? Wedding dress should ahve been over £1k, got it for less than £300

5. Stupidest thing you decided that you had to have (before getting engaged) and now dont care about? Nothing really, never expected that we would get married so didn't really have any preconceived ideas

6. Venue? Working farm a mile from our house, also an educational charity. We have hired the farmhouse, walled gardens and a barn for the reception

7. Engagement ring? Diamond solitaire tension fitted into a brushed platinum band - my boy did well, I would never ever ever change it
