16th November hun. Well I've done one lot of washing and hung it up and another is in the machiine, have been and picked up baby bits, and have phoned up about my loan, I still owe £650 at 24% interest, along with the £700 plus 14% interest on my CC, this is going to be pretty hard to shift by september, it is more than I thought it was, I guess the interest soon adds up. Not sure what to do, the bank have offered me a 0% interest CC for 16 months but would have no idea how to transfer everything or how much they would give me. I guess I could apply and find out? Then once paid off I could cancel my other CC, having two would just be too tempting! I have just spent a whopping £65 on diesel (so not a NSD but saves me rushing around to do it tomorrow) to fill the car up, have checked the mileage thingy which I can't zero and it says 4516, so I am going to drive very carefully and see how far that money gets me. I would love it to last me until next pay day (21st July) but I cant see that happening! Think I'm going to have a bit of a sort out and a tidy up this evening, hate the house being in such a mess, am willing it to rain properly so that I dont have to go and water the plants! Was really good today until I slipped up and had a cake and a biscuit at lunch time, really need to eat more healthily, am going to have my soup for dinner as I ended up having a paid for school dinner for lunch as I had to work. Keep getting heart burn and indigestion, really not nice!

    Right, what now?

My debt level is relatively low too but almost all of my income is going on mortgage and bills so I know what you mean about how difficult it is to pay it back. I don't have a solution unfortunately, except ebay, mystery shopping, bargain hunting for everything you need, etc. You'll probably end up with loads of baby stuff you can ebay later.

  • Don't stress hun, you just need to be focused. You keep trying it but this time you have an extra special reason ;).

Would it not be better for DH to just pay it off so you arent paying any interest. Either that or stop stressing which causes you to spend and just pay what you can and when!

Have you still got the chickens?
