    Hello Missymoo

I'm glad to hear you're keeping well.

I haven't been on for a while due to FINALLY popping the bump last Wednesday. Charlie-Joe:smileyhea arrived after emergency C Section at 7.13am weighing in at 7lbs 12oz. It's the best feeling ever, very happy Parsnip :j:j:j
Keep up the good work with the revision, it will be worth it in the end. It does get boring though doesn't it?

hey parsnip head, yaaaaay for charlie joe, what a lovely name, ooh I'm so excited for you, how are you getting on after the c section?

Well I'm 4 and a half months now, still havent felt a kick yet :( but on the upside I tested negative for diabetes which is a weight off my mind and I used my heart beat moniter last night and heard its tiny heart beat. in ten days I get to go for another scan, so excited, fingers crossed it is all ok. Been talking away to it, poor baby is probably sick of hearing my voice!!

All my exams are done now, so I can relax and focus on the important things. It feels really strange to be laying on the sofa with a cuppa, and not revising! Instead I am on here, and watching a place in the sun home or away, bliss.

After all the upheavel of the exams etc, I can finally get back to my MS ways, have slipped up hugely on most things and need to reign everything in!! So first step I have made some lovely lemon biscuits instead of buyiing some, and I am making a lovely chicken curry for dinner rather than spending £20 on a takeaway!! Every little helps as they say.

I am loving being pregnant, have quite a sizeable bump which I have to say I am enjoying showing off :)

Well I'm going to check out all the things I have missed on here.

    Speak soon

    Hi Missy,

Sorry, I've been away, visited family. Made me feel very broody, my brother's 6 week old son is the cutest, most beautiful baby in the whole world, I just wanted to bring him back with me! 4 and a half months, time is flying, can't believe it. Glad OU exam finished, now time to relax. How is debt busting? Have you decided on house yet?

Glad to hear you are doing well and tested negative for diabetes. I think you will be soon be feeling those little flutters and kicks. Trouble is I became fixated on mine and started to panic if I hadn't felt one for a while, generally when I was working and busy. I miss my kicks but have the real thing now and wouldn't swap.

I feel fine after the C section. It was the one thing I didn't want but to be honest after three days of on/off labour I was worn out and Charlies heartbeat was becoming eratic. I had heard so many stories about how incapacitated you can be afterwards I was really worried. It's not so bad and wouldn't worry about it if I had to do it again. It's a bit sore, but I was driving again just over a week later. One of my friends still couldn't drive after six weeks as she said she was in too much pain:eek::eek::eek:. Don't get me wrong it's not ideal but it's manageable as long as you don't push yourself too hard. I still wish I could have had him naturally though:(.

:(Those lemon biscuits sound lovely, just the thing to feed a growing bump. Enjoy showing it off, you'll miss it when it's gone. Oh god am I getting broody again 11 days after giving birth.:rotfl:

    Keep taking it easy.

    Hey

I'm sorry it has been so long since I've posted, everything has been manic! OH went away again today :( and for the first time I actually cried, which is unheard of for me. I guess it is all those pregnancy hormones and the fact I feel rather vulnerable since being pregnant.

Not having the best of days/weekends, have chronic tooth ache, really need to go to the dentist, but have my scan tomorrow so can't go then so will have to beg for an appointment on tuesday, I'm really hoping they are just going to whip the tooth out it hurts so much. It has been stopping me sleeping too, since being pregnant I haven't been sleeping too well anyway, but on friday night i didnt actually get to sleep until 4am!! Have just taken some paracetamol which seems to have taken the edge off and have just had a bath in the ensuite. But when I got out I noticed a huge wet patch on the floor in the bedroom and went downstairs and there's water dripping through the ceiling in the living room!!!!!! Why do these things always happen when OH goes away! Have drained the bath but its still dripping!! Have put towels down but the carpet is soaked!!! Fantastic, really hope it doesn't stain, I have a feeling it will smell though, its wool! Wet dog smell anyone!!

Well I only have 4 weeks left at school before the summer holidays, will then go straight on maternity leave, I know it is early but I am really struggling at work being on my feet all day and not sleeping, am tired and impatient and my feet are throbbing by the end of the day! Can't wait to finish and just put my feet up for a bit and snooze when i like!

Me and bump are fine, growing all the time though! Have my 20 week scan tomorrow which is very exciting! Can't wait to see my little baby on the screen! Think I felt him/her kick for the first time today, my tummy actually bulged out too, very strange, haven't felt it since though.

Been looking at my debts and what I can do to get them paid off before my birthday and before my maternity pay kicks in!

I think its doable, as have stopped paying for this OU module. Need to ring up santander and figure out how much I have left to pay, I think its about £400 but I'm not sure, I pay £200 a month, so that should be done by beginning of august. Have £700 on the credit card, I know I know, it's terrible isn't it **hangs head in shame**. But I want to pay £200 off with this months pay, £200 with next and the final £100 with the following month, which should then clear it! The budget is very tight to do this, but at the moment I don't think there is anything I actually need to buy, I have bought quite a lot of clothes lately due to my growing size, although none of it maternity, have just bought a size bigger in normal clothes and only wear dresses, ended up having to buy all new underwear too as my normal size doesn't fit, so that was £100 I didn't need to spend on the CC. Still haven't managed to put anything on ebay which is quite a major thing as that is going to be my spending money for venice, so really need to get my !!!!! in gear and do that. Am doing really well at not buying lunches at school though, the trick I've found is to leave my purse locked in the car or even at home as I am too lazy to go and get it when I want a cake.

House is back to being a complete mess, with exams and work and not sleeping etc, everything is all over the place!!! Really need to get back in the swing of making it really clean and tidy again, like it was before, still really need to sort out the middle room which will be the nursery as you can barely open the door for the rubbish and stuff thats in there!! On a brighter note, have finally found myself a desk! It was on ebay and I managed to get it for £40, it should fit perfectly into the alcove in the guest room, once one of the side lips have been plained (sp?) off and it needs a good sand and a definite varnish as it is that orangey varnished pine, and all the rest of our furniture is dark oak,but it shouldn't take that long and I think I'll quite enjoy it, then I will have a proper place to study instead of trying to prop myself up in bed and read.

Hmmm what else has happened since I last posted.... oooh have planted some lovely plants in the garden, we got some climbers to go over the pergoda and we got raspberries and blackberries and grapes along with 6 tomato plants which we have planted along the fence border! I also planted, some runner beans, some broad beans and some peas, I've watered them nicely today so hopefully they will grow well! I meant to do more this year but what with bump etc, time seems to have run away with me.

Although I have been really good and super organised and ordered the next lot of books for my next ou course that starts in October, so that I can get a head start and actually know what I'm talking about!

    So goals for next month:
clean house from top to bottom
    no buying lunch at school
Go easy on the petrol and try and shop around for cheapest
    Not buy any clothes
    Think before I buy anything
try and tack essential items i.e. liquid eyeliner (yes is very essential to me!!) onto the supermarket shop as comes out of household budget

Think thats it today, will post again tomorrow night and let you know how my scan went.

    Missy xx

Busy busy this morning, have had to get up and wash my hair, unfortunately have washed it and realised that I have no mousse left!!! Frizzy unruly curls anyone!! Have had to dig out the straighteners!!! Need to go and get petrol and some money out to pay the extortionate hospital car parking charges!

Wont be around much this evening as I'm popping to my dads to show off my new scan picture :)

Tonight when I get back I will write a to do list for this week/weekend. So much to do!

Right where did I put those straighteners?!

aaaahhh have been up since 3.30 with my tooth, god it hurts, the dentist really had better let me have an emergency appointment today, I don't think I can take another day of this!

Mind you it is a really beautiful morning, I think I may even make myself a cuppa and go and water the plants. hmmmm I don't think my tooth could take tea this morning, might just have to make do with watering the garden!
