Really, what did you think people would do Victory. I have my own opinion of people that do this, but it isn't suitable for writing here.
Rant Over
OMG - that has just gone for £735!!!!! Some people really do have more money than sense0 -
Surely they are just making the most of an opportunity to buy a product thats clearly in demand and selling it for profit to people willing to part with their cash.
I can see why those not able to purchase one in the shops may be aggrieved but surely that is the problem with the stores not having enough to meet demand not with someone savvy enough to see an opportunity to make some cash. Its all being done above board.
Good luck to them I say.Boots Card - £17.53, Nectar Points - £15.06 - *Saving for Chrimbo*2015 Savings Fund - £2575.000 -
even if I really wanted one ( which I don't), how would you know that it wasn't a scam? I bet lots of desperate parents will be so determined to get one that all reason will fly out of the window and they won't even bother checking out the sellers!"There is a light that never goes out"0

You see all sides of Human nature on this particular web site. People with genuine altruistic aims and others purely greedy and selfish. Posters who are happy to help at the cost of their own time, others who just glean information to try and make a fast buck.
Personally, the most nauseating to me, the ones who miss a bargain on a genuine misprice because the company had the audacity to pull the product because it's going to lose them thousands of pounds. You then get 100's of hard luck stories of how they only wanted ithe item for their 'crippled child' and how they want to take it to the newspapers, watchdog, or anyone else who might have the misfortune to have to listen.
Good on the ones who are here to help, is what I say.0 -

But disappointed kids...you are having a laugh?
Parents could have been queing for a day or two if it was that important to their little treasure. If they wern't willing to do that they could now buy it on EBay and pay the premium for their slothfulness.
Or
Be told tough luck...its another barbie this year!
Its the same agument every year......
However not all of us live anywhere near these shops...... what would you have me do, should I wanted one for my kiddies (thank heavens they have long grown out of toys!)....travel a couple of hundred miles and wait out side a shop then travel back .
Personally I dislike the whole concept of buying at the retail price purely to sell at a profit. It includes the must haves at christmas and tickets for the concerts etc . Those that buy them, then lessen the chance of the wanters to get them at the retail price,
Thats my thoughts and I am entiteld to them!! (Before anyone says anything).
however I have never paid extra for anything . Would not dream of using touts! I would do without first.
Thankfully have not got the pester power here. :rotfl:0 -

I was going to put a wii on ebay (I ordered 2 to be sure of getting one on release day), but only one turned up, so amn't going to (good job I ordered two, eh...).
If I did, I was gonna give the profits to charity - sure there's one that gives xmas pressies to african kids or something, seemed like the right thing to do.
Call me square, but I couldn't make money out of something like this.0 -
