Im thinking of this global card, maybe cause i might want to use it in other places other than the euro, like the usa etc or even oz.
But what i really want this for is to take away with me in a few weeks well les than that now,to load and spend on my trip away to greece.
Not only that i will want purchase maybe from the card,as well as withdraw from atms,i have heard you can withdraw upto £600 a day with this card,i dont think this is right as i thought most places do about £300 or is the euro more?
Also i am getting married when i greece and our planner is looking to get paid in euro only cash,i had thought of using travelers cheques but never used them and i think they will work out more to use and end up costing me more.
So i was looking for this global travelex card as one i might be able to use it if i go elsewhere, and comparing it with others looks ok.
I will be moving to oz in the near future so i take this travelex card might be no good to me after i leave or could i still take it with me and keep using it?
But as i said the main reason of getting the card is to use for funds for our two weeks away and also to get money from atm or as much as possible before we meet our planner to pay her,i am probably gonna take cash but also would like to take money from the atm as well when i get there so i have enough to pay them.
I have another person to pay,the hotel for other things for our wedding but thats not a problem as i can use the card for that.
I need to be sure this is the right card for me.
Also whats the euro rate been like these past weeks, months has it moved much?as its the global card i was thinking of and i beleive you get the rate on the day, otherwise if using the euro travelex card you get what you purchase today or whenever you purchase,as i might wish to load some amounts of cash i wonder whats the better option here as in get the exchange rate now or risk it and see if it gets lower or better higherTreat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.0 -

Another thread with exactly the same questions. You are becoming an annoyance.
Just get the cards and stop flapping on with thread after thread of the same thing.0 -

I have a FairFX Euro Card.
This weekends rate is 1.20e per £.
Since it costs 1.50e to withdraw from ATMs we usually withdraw the maximum of 300e when we need it.
I've also got a Sterling card, can't quite remember why we had that.0 -
I use a Caxton card which offers a slightly poorer rate than FairFX but doesn't have an atm withdrawal fee. So if you prefer to withdraw smaller amounts Caxton can work out slighly better.
Downside is that Caxton requires a minimum load of €150 when topping up whereas FairFX ask for minimum £50 equivalent.
Caxton are now issuing Visa cards whereas FairFX use Mastercard. Mastercards can be used to avoid Ryanair's admin fee on the return part of flight from certain euro countries which may be of benefit.0
