I managed to go through my T-shirt/strappy top drawers and picked out the things I know I don't wear or really need to be binned that for some reason are still in the drawer. I still need to go through my workwear and more smarter clothes. But so far I am amazed at how much stuff I actually have. So will perserve. I have quite a bit of climbing/yoga/cycling gear which is all needed. So its a work in progress right now but I'm not giving up. Have come across this website as well: http://www.mycapsulewardrobe.com/index.htm - They have 15 items in their capsule wardrobe
xx
I'm going to do mine this weekend I think - my mum has a charity donation they're doing to raise money at her school in a couple of weeks and they get paid £550 a ton! So we've been instructed to have a clear out!!!
However, I've got a few nice things that I was hanging onto in the hope I'll slim down into them again - this is looking not imminent so I think I'll list them on eBay and see how that goes instead! 15 items is teeny - I assume it doesn't include knickers!!!:rotfl:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old Style, Crafting and Techie Stuff boards. If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Morning all
Today could be hideous at work so not making too many resolutions!
[STRIKE]
1. Photocopy P60 and include it with Open Univeristy financial support application for October course (this has been on my list since the weekend and would have been done yesterday only I forgot to bring my P60 into work to photocopy!!!)
[/STRIKE] done and FINALLY posted!!! Already had stamps so no spend there at least!
[STRIKE]2. Check online banking as two card payments should have debited, then only mobile bill left to come out this month :j[/STRIKE] both come out as expected, just mobile bill left as predicted...love to be right
[STRIKE]3. Have a LSD - today should have been a NSD and so should yesterday but it's all gone horribly wrong!!![/STRIKE] won't be spending any more today, actually not sure if this qualifies as a LSD - total is £6.59, approx. £5.80 more than planned!!!
[STRIKE]4. Bring lunch to work[/STRIKE] done and eaten!
[STRIKE]5. If I get time tonight, make a list of everything in my cupboards (I mean things like dry goods) so I can start to use things up a bit!!![/STRIKE] done!!!
