In an effort to stay relaxed and de stressed I am making a to do list for tomorrow:
- stand up for myself with my boss - find out exactly what she wants me to do on Friday so I am not worrying about it (she is taking me off my classes and on to her classes, long story!)
-Find out if the parents evening next week is directed time oh has to go to a funeral
, I am stuck without childcare
- decide if I want to cancel my tuitions on Tue and Wed next week (makes sense as I haven't got childcare and I am possibly going to be tired and sick -loss of £80 though.)
- sell my theatre tickets on tomorrow.
On the positive side, the money has been rolling in today -
- £19 cheque for income tax 2008-2009
- £30 cheque for survey (thanks summerday)
plus some money for tutoring.
The ebay slippers for lo arrived today and they are great, I will wash them at the weekend and then they are ready to go, and very good quality.
I have also arranged to buy two big bag of clothes size 2-3 and 3-4 for lo off preloved (I really like that site!) for £30 - must remember to collect on Friday. It should meet most of my play clothes requirements for the next 2 years, so I think its a bargain!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Twinklie, I didn't get sickness that bad, and ginger biscuits and tea seemed to work for me. It aslo passed quite quickly - week 12 I think? How far along are you?
I think I'm due 16th September, so I'm only 6+4 (I'm writing after midnight). I'm in at the docs on Tuesday for paperwork session I think. Oddly we don't go straight to midwife. Docs put us in system through a 15 min appointment (already had to have urine test there to confirm), to arrange scan and midwife appts. Very strange.
I'm quite sick, but went on the oddest shop in Mr S before. Bought loads of random things to snack on. The things that have floated my boat this evening, ginger, lemon and honey tea, Snack A Jacks (big massive ones) and ICE LOLLIES. :j I currently do NOT feel sick.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Glad that you do not feel sick but why are you up at 12.38!!!?
My boss must be under so much pressure as she was very unpleasant today when I explained my problems with the parents evening next week 9oh going to a freinds funeral and will be away for 3 days due to travelling). It is directed time and if I want to reschedule the 2 appointments with parents for another evening, I have to apply for a leave of absence. I completely understand all that but her comments "its no excuse" and "we all have to deal with childcare issues" wasn't very helpful!!
Anyway everything elese is going fine. I have to teach her classes tomorrow when she is out, one of them in particular is really behind and very worrying.
I am quite stressed about it all, but I am just going to make an effort to relax and take things easy.
I am looking forward to relaxing tomorrow evening (no tutoring) and over the weekend with oh and ds.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Glad that you do not feel sick but why are you up at 12.38!!!?
I had fallen asleep earlier and then woke up coughing again (still got respiratory infection - although I plan on going back to school on Monday)...couldn't sleep after that and was getting wound up. Went on the internet for half an hour and was ready to drop off again.
Hmmm...we have a young lady (lovely lass) like that in our department. She has no kids though and is in her early twenties. Her thoughts on the matter are you shouldn't have kids unless you have someone to look after them. All her family (it's a massive one) live near by and are happy to help. I tried to point out not everyone has that kind of support....that's when she said well don't have kids then!!!!
Oh and congrats Viola we are forming quite the earlybird club. Ha ha. For future reference I'm very excited but don't want to get too attached so early on, so you'll hear me focusing on the negatives rather a lot - it's a self preservation kinda thing (I am happy and cautiously excited though).Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Thanks twinklie, congrats to you too. I feel the same way about being attached early on, I'm just focusing on the practical side at the moment.Mortgage free Jan 2012

Ooooh, viola, congratulations to you too! How far on are you?
Earthy, all the other pregnancies are people outside here. I can't decide if I'm feeling broody or not. I think I'm too focussed on job and house move at the moment
I know it's easy for me to say but try not to worry about your bossUpdating soon...0 -
Big congratulations on the news!
Try not to let your boss stress you out, it's horrid when they try to make you feel bad like that. Could you maybe try to find a local babysitter to look after LO for a few hours during the parents evening? It must be hard not having the grandparents nearby.Yesterday is today's memories, tomorrow is today's dreams

See we do have grandparents nearby but have no intention of leaving with them ever....they are too irresponsible! Doh!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
