I have just read Museum workers new diary, and found it so inspiring. That is what is so great about this board, you get so many nice people who are so enthusiastic and it kind of rubs off. Anyway I loved the way museaum worker broke down her aims into yearly and then monthly tasks, and I wanted to do the same, so I have 100% copied her system, even cutting and pasting some of the tragets as they are exactly the same!! Hope it is ok and thanks mw for the inspiration!!

My dad is coming this weekend which should be lovely. He will be staying at a hotel with a pool, so ds and I will hopefully get to go swimming one day too. He is bringing fresh fish for us to have on saturday for tea, and all I have to do is prepare the veg. I have some lamb in the freezer for Sunday apart from today when I am getting our top up shop for the week, this should be a ns weekend!
Feeling very positive and motivated, so off to attack my list!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Great weekend so far. My dad has left but we had a really nice time, went swimming and for a walk and really just enjoyed playing with lo and relaxing with him. We talked through the whole where to live /moving/ school catchment area thing, and we have some good ideas. Anyway, the savings we are making will be used to buy a new property, one way or another!!!
I have still got quite a lot to do, so I will start with cleaning the bathroom and making a list of meals I can manage out of store for the month.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Some friends came round in the end, but I finished the cleaning and made the sunday roast - it was lovely, but only enough for DS to have it for tea again tonight.
An event I had palnned at work went quite well this morning, and I have a lovely a leve class this afternoon, followed by 2 hours private tuition, so that should be a £55 bonus for the saving pot. When taking the speakers back to the station, I poped in to b00ts, and returned somthings that were not up to scratch - a refund of £28!! I will use my lunch duty allowance to buy all food again, and am going to try to go for the healthy option So it should be a good MSE NSD I hope. So it should be a good MSE NSD I hope.
 To do:
 - cook oh and I freezer meal.
 - make a list of store cupboard meals.
 - finish planning for this afternoons tutorings.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

All going well here on the ms front. I did a ms shop in which I got a lovely toy for my brothers baby (due in June). The fee of £5 I will put into the present fund too.
I have completed lots of tutoring, and I have a double lesson booked in after work today. We are eating out of the store cupboard so everything is going to plan.
Looking forward to realxing at the weekend already! Is it only Wednesday?15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Well done on the tutoring, you seem to be busy with it at the moment. We're having an economy driven meal tonight, dd having stew out of freezer and DH and I are having various leftovers!! I agree about the week being slow, noticing it more now that DH works Mon-Fri!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0
