My dd did this she was 20 months, on day just stood up said "look" and walked lol... she was an ace talker so think she concentrated on this rather than moving about. DS was opposite, 11 months and wandering round but didnt speak much!! :rotfl:0 -

I concur with CathT, completely mind blowing amount to have saved in such a short period of time!
DD didn't crawl forward til a day after her first birthday, and didn't walk until 18 months. She was an excellent talker though.Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

Babies are all so different aren't they. I didn't walk until 19 months and even then wasn't that keen on it! My dd took her first steps on 1st birthday and was walking well enough for shoes in a few weeks. Didn't sleep through the night until she was 2.5 though!! I guess I assume DS will do things at a similar stage but I think boys are a little bit lazier!! (sincerely hope he has a different approach to sleep though!)Nov 2025 - part 1 - £13,878 part 2 - £20,953 Total - £34,832 24 months to go!0

Yes ds has been walking around for a few months now and is quite good at it.
I am sorry I have not been able to keep up with everyones diaries, I feel so out of touch sometimes, but I am happy now I have caught up with most.
I had a lovely weekend at home with lo and oh. I got a lot of decluttering and tidying done, but I didn't manage all the cleaning. OH did it this week, and I felt terrible as I normally do it, but I suppose we aer a team and I just have to accept help.
Work has been really bad this week, I was starting to feel really upset about it. Things have been a little better of late, and I have spoken to a friend about it. It doesn't help that my 'best friend' at work hasn't been there for quite a long time as she is fighting a custody battle over her baby girl, but it kind of makes me feel very grateful for what I do have, instead of focusing on the negative.
I have made another £6 from ebay sales, so I 'd like to list more items and make £9 to get that up to a total of £75 this month.
Our credit card bill was high this month due to my speed awareness course, my christmas present of the ipl machine, and my petrol money from when I went to my mums, and a train journey back from scotland. Oh has paid an extra £500 into our account to cover it and give us a buffer zone. (He only normally contributes £1000 whilst I put in £3000 ish, so he is happy to put in some extra when needed).
I have done a top up shop of £15 fruit milk and bread, and I with a bit of cooking from scratch I might be able to make it last the week.
I am tutoring all saturday morning
but then I plan to do something nice with oh, and clean and ebay! 15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Earthie your LO is gonna have a great work ethic with your example. What's going on at work, can I help?
The thought of a custody battle over a baby grips me in the chest with panic, your poor friend. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Hope things get better at work, schools are very up and down places. I hope you have some fun lessons tomorrow,
SquirrelPaid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
