Re: mooncups. I have no experience but a group of friends are currently raving about them and after using them have never looked back.

Thanks green ninja and catht - Cath I can't eblieve you are actually on here so quickly after giving birth. Are you mad!!

Anyway, all is going well, have done plenty of tutoring so far. One client has cnacelled on Thursday which is great as I had 2 back to back and I hate that. I am feeling a bit more positive about work now, or I am trying to be positive anyway.

    Things to do-
-I did a top up shop of £6 and need to do another top up shop tonight - I have £19 to play with which should be plenty.
-I need to do some planning for my tutoring lessons
    -do some gardening and
    -work on ohs business,
    -and finish my sewing
    -list more stuff on ebay

I seem to have got back into swing of things pretty quickly this time. When baby was 36 hours old I managed to get us all out of the house by 10am to take DD to nursery. When he was 4 days old i took them out to soft play 18 miles away and I have a job interview on Monday!

Hi all, Unfortunately :) the school has had to close due to a power cut this morning. Staff had to stay and the power is on now, so atleast I can get on with my work!

I have had a good read of diaries though as a treat and now I plan to get on with things!

    1. Clear in and out tray (edit I really mean find them- they are hidden!)
    2. plan lessons for next 2 weeks
    3. plan tutoring for next 2 weeks
    4. filing
    5. tidy cupboard

What a stroke of luck the power cut was - I am now very organised (on the surface) at work and only one week left before a week off! Can't wait!

I have had a bit of a bad weekend money wise :( I got a speeding fine (not sure if I get the fine and the points or the course) but it will be expensive :( For some reason I am not too bothered about this, living in North Wales its just one of those things, not ideal but nevermind!

I have spent £235 on a laser hair removal kit, but this is for my birthday and Christmas off my mum and OH.

The good things that have happened; spent a lot of time with ds and went for a meal at a friends - it was wonderful. I had to bring naans which I made in the bread maker. I also took chutney and jam for the hostess instead of flowers, so it cost nothing.

I made another pot of chutney, and took some down to the farmer whos wife said I was ok to get autumn fruit next year as well.

Thanks for the sympathy. I was trying to gloss over it but I was more than a little annoyed with myself. It was a 60 to a 30 and I was caught just after the 30 sign at 35mph - no excuse I know.

Anyway, I have a couple of minutes after work and before tutoring for a quick update.

I am finding it tough to cope at school again this week. I have again lost all my ppas (free preperation periods) due to school events and a training day on Friday. Nevermind, I am not going to get mad - I just do the best with the time I have.

I feel as if I am on a pretty bad moneysaving curve at the moment due to that and a few other niggly things.

Three tutoring clients have cancelled this week, due to events before half term, so I will be about £75 down on the week :(

I had to send ds in disposable nappies as he is teething and his bum seems very sore, and I don't want the washables to irritate him.

I had to add some money to my lunch account and I only had £1 so had to add that.

I know that this is hardly hemmoraging money but I want to turn it around so that I can start bringing back in the money and saving it!!

    Opportunity for savings!
Keep the house warm (draw the curtains early, use the draft excluders)
Sort out the bank account that I opened to get the £100 payment
Sort out the uniform tax rebate
Give baby some time with nappy off if possible to help his nappy rash and get him back in washables.
    Ebay more stuff

Boots own IPL machine. It was £325 I think down to £235 with a big discount and a voucher code.
