Lost internet for a bit but have cleaned half the kitchen including door fronts, back door, windowsill, tile trim, tiles and worktops. Got as far as the pile of paperwork, so have made a cuppa and going to sit down and go through all that

Hi Mozzy, I lived in Modbury in the early 70's:beer: we came back to england in 75.

    morning all :hello:

flying well this week, kitchen looking good, :j

    Living room looking good,:j

    bathroom now looks all sparkly:j

must mops floors downstairs or Rapide them, one or other, perhaps both.

    RANT ALERT
I'm feeling a bit cross, DD has a new bloke in her life after dumping a toxic husband last year. BUT, she doesn't want him to come to our house because of the mess  The thing is, she hasn't been here for over 6 months, so she doesn't know what it looks like since I have been flying AND we always made the place presentable if we had someone visiting anyway, even if it meant throwing everything into the ROD. I don't know how to react, :(

Do I need to eat it :o
    Can I afford the calories:eek:

Shellysue Hugs, I don't know what to say other than I feel a bit the same. DH said a neighbour was going to pop around last night and for me to get the information ready that he needed as the house was in too much of a state to invite him in:eek:. I was hurt as house is so much better than preflying days. Has your daughter any plans to come to your home herself?

:coffee:cuppa I think then to crack on with listy

Shelly.. I'd tell her she was welcome to help tidy if it made her feel better. Why can you not all go for dinner if she is such a snob she won't come to your home?

DD has only just got a car in the last couple of days, so I suggested she might come over to see her Gparents, who live a few doors down, she is still nervous about driving on her own as she has only just passed her test.

I think I shall crack on with the house getting better every week and see if I can arrange to go over to her to avoid the whole situation. I just don't feel like jumping through hoops to please the new bloke, I'm not asking him to move in with me and my house is quite presentable now.

Another hour of paid work and then take out my present mood on the floors:mad:

eta Thanks Pigpen, I think we should all meet at her place, its a bigger mess than mine:p

When I did get up I found OH cleaning  He really has got into this cleaning lark. :p Wonder if he will be as a keen when I am away for a week?
