Gosh have just been struggling to keep up with the day today. Dailies sort of done, kids were playing upstairs this afternoon with a couple of friends so the place is in mayhem. I have however had to clear out a few cupboards due to receiving an online delivery of lots of store-cupboard things. I now have enough teabags to last til christmas, ditto rice and pasta. The medicines cupboard is cleared out, I've also emptied the small cupboard with all the breast pump and steriliser stuff - I think seeing as my baby is nearly 2 I don't think I'm going to have a sudden crisis of supply that I would need to use it now:rotfl:. THat cupboard is now full of cereal and tea bags :p. Tins cupboard also sorted out, swept out and re-organised, ditto for the cake tins cupboard:j Living room is tidy, but not dusted :o Got paperwork to sort out now, do a bit of ironing and try to get an early night!

Can I just remind all those clearing out their medicines cupboards that unwanted medicines should really be taken to a pharmacy to be disposed of correctly and not put down the sink or into the bin. Any pharmacy should take them and that includes medicines bought over the counter as well as the prescription ones :):)

Hope all the flyladies, gents and babies are having a peaceful evening xx

My list for the rest of today
Start filling out forms for passport in my married name
Need to check a couple of things with the post office tomorrow. It is strange filling a form in with a name I don't have yet. I need to practise my signature before I finish it, hadn't even thought about that yet!

  • I've really not been on the ball today... or yesterday...so far over both days, I have managed:

    To do this dishes
Change & wash daughters bedsheets (the joys of night time potty training- wouldn't be so bad if she didn't admit she did it on purpose as she pulled her pants down to keep them dry)
Clear away toys in front room
    Quick wipe of kitchen sides.

Thats it. 2 days and that's all I've done. Oh well. The kids are happy so that's all that matters really. But still. I really need to get another load of washing on before my son decides to leak through another nappy (the joys of a skinny baby *sighs*) I'm sure my world revolves around cleaning up wee, poo and sick. If it's not one child it's the other. Can you tell I'm feeling a bit fed up today? DS has reflux and still not outgrown it at 13weeks old and for some reason his fussiness has really gotten to me today I even started doubting if I had enough milk for him :( (breastfeeding) but he's fast asleep and happy now so I must have done something right.

charity bag collection for the british Heart Foundation direct that actually takes books and toys.

Lol I was even impressed myself :D It's great that the BHF take things other than purely clothes, have filled a couple of bags for them recently.

Had a work friend over this evening, we went out to pizza hut for tea and then played Jack Straws whilst chatting and listening to A-ha's final gig, downstairs was presentable so result all round ;)

Gran nice to see you back wow a year since Dan was injured, where has time gone?!

DS3 outgrew his reflux at about 2.. things had got rough by then. If he is happy when awake and fed and getting big and cuddly then you are doing just fine!

Evening all, just dropping in to report....no proper flying here really today :o As usual its been a busy day and I spent the time between school/work and Brownies having a mooch around youtube/ebay/material suppliers for supplies to make tutus as you do :rotfl::rotfl: Some of the girls in work are doing the local race for life and were going to pay £7 EACH to buy tutus so I said I'd make them for them instead. Pretty sure I can come up with 6 or so of them without spending £7 each ;) Everyone is skint and trying to come up with costumes as cheap as possible...I feel tomorrows lunchtime conversations could be interesting and actually contributed to by me a lot more than usual about cheaper ways to do what they want to do ;):money: Also, can I be really really cheeky and ask for some positive vibes my way regarding the possibility of a job opening which might be available. All dependant as to the distribution of money of course, but I'm crossing everything thats crossable that maybe just maybe I might be able to apply for a job I would love. Shhhhh its a secret though, hence the little and pale text!
Just going to declutter myself to bed now that I've finished filing some recipes I printed out. Note to self: Check the number of pages in a Word document before you send it to print - I've printed out over 300 pages tonight when I should have been working :o I had to file them as well as they were in a specific order and I know my luck, I'd drop them and mix them up :o
