yes this is the same car that was sold with service history, only to find out that there was not one!!!
I would say the mileage entered on the 15-Mar is an error, no-one is going to go to the effort of clocking a car by a couple of 1000 miles and i don't think the car has done 8000 miles in the 6 days between 9th and 15 March.0

so why is it that is what is recorded?? I agree that the car did not do 8000 miles in 6 days, but could the clock have been changed?0

It's more likely someone just hit the wrong digit when entering the information.0

but it still shows the clock going back on the23-May-2006 Auction 56,014, wouldnt this have been picked up at the time??0
-
Picked up for what? if it was noticed there's every chance is was seen as a entry error exactly as it looks, it doesn't look anything like the cars been clocked to me, there are no major discrepancies as mentioned in your OP and i don't think you will get anywhere with Carcraft over this, also if this was going to be an issue it should have been an issue when you purchased the car and hpi checked it yourself not a year and a half later when you want to sell the car.0
-
so IF it was noticed, surely it would have been logged as an error,
and seeing when i was sold the car I was told that it had a full service history, to find out it was not true, why would i be informed of a mileage discrepancy?0

hold on if its a key stroke error....think about this...

This happens all the time, its like the price I paid for my current house had three digits in a row which were 117 - its entered on the land registries as 155...
 Mistakes happen.0

And of course carcraft are a reputable company aren't they? 0 0

Wether it was a mistake or not, on paper it is listed as have had being clocked, its irrelevant if there was an typing error, the car is listed as being CLOCKED.0
-
shouting it doesn't change anything - its only on paper as being clocked - you now need to find supporting documentation that proves its an error.
DVLA/V5's would be a good start to be honest...0
