Mr Regnier's confirmation the mirroring of BoS current a/cs to LTSB's current range I dont really see any libel.

Whilst I don't dispute the likelihood of the changes you've suggested being true, they haven't been officially announced.

In any large organisation, there's always going to be some members of staff who have reveal commercially sensitive information - although I'm genuinely surprised Mike Regnier is one of those member's of staff.

You are claiming Mike Regnier has leaked commercially sensitive information, that could be considered libellous. Even more seriously, he's leaked that information to a member of staff from a competing institution.

Now obviously it's not as dramatic as I've made it sound, he may not even mind people knowing, but I still think there's been a breach of trust. The conversation still took place within a business context, and as such, I'm not sure it's appropriate to name drop such a senior member of LBG staff - for one, it adds no weight to your claims, his name is on letters HBOS mail to customers, so not something you'd only know if you met him.

We are going to have to agree to disagree on this one. You have put things in your post which are not correct and inferred, however, I dont have the mental energy just now (sorry, feeling a bit under the weather) to start from the beginning and explain exactly what happened. If you like though I will do it later.

    Cheers

Only if Mikey didn't leak that information. If he did leak it, as Savegej asserts, then it's an internal disciplinary matter.

Unless, of course, the information was passed to the OP as part of a business relationship, in which case Mikey's company might well come after Savagej's company for breach of confidentiality.

And I did work for a FTSE 100 company, and when I was privy to confidential information I knew that I was expected to !!!!!!! And I did, I certainly wouldn't have discussed it with someone who would post it on an online discussion forum, complete with my name!

We're not talking about some minor policy change, you have confirmed some major changes to the Bank of Scotland product line, and name dropped.

Regardless of whether or not it can be considered libellous, there has, unless Mike Regnier gave you express permission to discuss this information on a public forum, been a breach of trust at the very least.

I agree with pvt, if the information was passed to you in a business capacity (as you suggest), you have to make a professional judgement as to what is considered confidential - and IMO this is not information LGB would want posted on a public forum.

Please pick me up on points you feel I've misrepresented you on once you're feeling better.

Certainly when I have worked in any sort of sensitive area, I was contractually obliged to treat information given to me as strictly confidential.

Can I find out my credit score?
You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)
