So I suppose that will be the end of the Electron card for Bos customers and I would imagine with the new computer that the Easycash basic account would probably mirror the LTSB Cash account and report conduct at last to the CRA's.0

Perhaps you should have asked the "very high up in the Bank of Scotland" employee to confirm this when you spoke to them on 19/05/2011
Bank of Scotland current accounts with an overdraft opened prior to the Halifax merger do not report to CRA's , nor do Lloyds TSB accounts opened long ago
I am not convinced that accounts will start to report to CRA's , however they did start reporting Intelligent Finance accounts to CRA'S quite recentlyHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. It came from a gentleman called Mike Regnier, he is the Personal Current Account Director for HBOS, how much higher would you suggest I go? Maybe the quotation marks are not appropriate?

He certainly comes across that way to me. Thanks.0

I am sure he'll be delighted that you publicised it on a public board. I hope you don't work for LBG. It could easily be grounds for dismissal. You could also get him in trouble.0 -
Have you ever worked for a FTSE 100 company, have you ever been in the boardroom with the directors? I dont work for LGB, but I have done the later a few times and I know they dont say things to people they dont know that they would not want going any futher whatsoever. They are also much more human than you seem to be giving them credit for. If he asks me to remove the post I shall happily do it or the if the site wants to remove it then thats okay too.0

The information on this board is commercially sensitive, and I'm pretty sure that Mike Regnier (as with any member of staff) assumes conversations taking place within the workplace are not spread beyond that context.
There's a level of unspoken trust which one engages with in the workplace, and you have to be savvy enough to know that it is not for public consumption. Mike Regnier should not have to ask, you should know not to post potentially libellous claims on a public forum.Anything I post is my opinion, so from time to time I may be wrong. I try to provide answers based in fact, however I don't know everything, so (like all posters on MSE), take what I say with a pinch of salt.0 -
Sorry, I did not mean this to come across as I had spoken to Mr Regnier in the LBG boardroom or that the information came to me in that manner. As I said I dont work for them and the exchange I had with him was in relation to a bank and its customer.
They are also introducing a new design for the bank cards in a more traditional bank of scotland style and making them contactless, so in addtion to this and confirmation from front line staff in the branch that a new computer in being installed and Mr Regnier's confirmation the mirroring of BoS current a/cs to LTSB's current range I dont really see any libel. I think it would a good guess it is going to happen as when LTSB Scotland is sold the only LBG brand in Scotland would be BoS so in all probability they would want what they see as their best product lines on sale in Scotland.
These are my thoughts only and not those of anyone else.
