Thank you for your thoughts, Werdnal. The criticisms of LLZ Admin on this thread have been more a heartfelt expression of frustration at their intransigence and unfairness, to be honest, than personal attacks on individuals.
I'd like it on record that I bear no-one at LLZ any ill-will over this - life's too short - but I am saddened by the way they have been unwilling to take into account the strength of feeling in what is essentially their unpaid workforce. I would second Lawcruncher's observations about the forum being its members, and about the amount of goodwill they have lost, and for what? Pure pride and an unwillingness to reconsider a hasty decision. It's mad.0 -

Just noticed something odd - MTG your post count has gone back to the start - you had about 80 'odd posts to your name yesterday. You are showing up as a "newbie" again, complete with a Newbie sticker under your avatar. Very strange?0 -

Just from randomly lurking in the thread, I can see that there is a:
Mind The Gap
and a

Note the lowercase 't'. I believe that MSE uses case sensitive usernames, so MtG may have re-registered as MTG unintentionally.0 -
For what it's worth.
Admin at LLZ have promised to overhaul the disciplinary system.
A lot of people have got things out of their systems, both pro admin and anti admin.
This ban will be over at 2pm on Monday.
It's obvious that such a disparate group are never going to agree on everything.
Let's all cool off, if you wish to see how things are on LLZ after this has blown over then log in and act as normal. if you find and feel that you are no longer welcome accept it and move on.
No more vitriol.0 -

Yes - I needed to reassure Propertyman but have forgotten my password (I am logged in permanently when at home, but not when elsewhere!) I have emailed Admin 48 hours ago, but no response yet, so I re-registered with same name but very slightly different punctuation - couldn't see what else to do.
If Admin can email me my original password, I will of course cease using this account. I am the same person and I have no wish to deceive anyone.0 -

If you give a wrong password when logging in you will be asked to "click here" if you have forgotten your password, at which point you will be presented with a form to enter the email address you used to register.
Your password will automatically be reset when you follow the link in the email you will receive.

Wise words, in many ways. It's only an internet forum, when all's said and done. It's not important, in the grand scheme of things. I have learnt a lot over the past week - inspiring and dispiriting in equal measure. I'll probably drop in there when the ban expires to thank everyone who stood up and was counted. Then, like you, I may at some point contribute again if I feel like it -perhaps if a fairer system is ever implemented. At the moment, however, I have no inclination to 'resume normal service' - quite apart from anything else, the site admin. and others have made it very clear that my 'normal service' (or their perception of it!) is unacceptable to them. I won't be anyone's whipping boy, so it's probably best I leave them in peace/to stew in the mess of their own making. We all have lives to lead, after all.0 -

And it is pretty classless to just stamp on a message of support (post 8 in that thread in other place). I was the first on record to support you.
Shame on you.
Propertyman - please be 100% assured that i was referring to pt 8 within the LLZ press release pts 1-11.
I apologise if anyone has misinterpreted what i said !!My posts are my opinion which is neither right nor wrong.0 -

His last post on 12 May said,
He's going to have a lot to catch up on when he gets backThen the document was not served until 7th May, so you are correct, the 2 months has not been given. HOWEVER (as I won't have to face the fallout - I'll be away for a few days) I would add that it...
