It has a dual effect: Those people inclined to be nice will be even nicer and those the people inclined to be unpleasant will be even more unpleasant.

In theory, a good idea.

It's possibly going to be more positive discrimination (and, as a country, we had a lot of that under New Labour).

However, MSE needs to show that they are protecting both new and old members, otherwise, to me, it's discrimination (isn't that illegal?)
