Its not what you did, its why you did it that was in question. Based on this thread and the vids on youtube, I would suspect (as has been said) that you let those cars in just to annoy the van driver who was right up behind you, not because it was the 'right thing to do'.

Obviously that is nothing more than an assumption based on given information and the interpretation of said information :)

When Videos are posted, you have to assume that people will comment on what they see.....

And more often than not, what they don't see :rotfl:

I just don't get why people do stuff like that Lum, the worst thing is they probably think they are the good guys when in reality they are driving dangrously and will eventually come unstuck and take others with them. There's enough accidents shown on traffic programmes for people to see what happens to cars and accupants at those sort of speeds.

I've long given up caring about it. It's just too stressful. I just deal with it at the time and then take the P out of them later.

I may have mentioned in another thread a time when someone pulled out in front at the last second (right hand lane mostly stationery, left free flowing) while I had a tailgater. I went onto the hard shoulder to avoid them and my tailgater drove into the back of them. Kept me amused all afternoon that one.

This I think is the problem, people assume im showing off... When in fact it's not in my nature.

If it's not in your nature to show off, why video other drivers to try and show off that you know all about driving and they don't?
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

Rightly or wrongly, I think Strider and his videos deserve their own thread. Maybe even a 'sticky' at the top of the forum. :D

Only the other day on a DC (local ring road), I witnessed the van behind me closing the gap to less than a few inches in order to prevent a chap in another car pulling in before a merge point.

I slowed down and allowed several cars to pass both of us, much to the van drivers disapproval :rotfl: There was much gear grinding, acclerator pumping and swerving about, but I ignored him and carried on :)

So me competitive? don't think so.

Just acting like the knob you keep saying you aren't?. The fact that you find the scenario funny as in:rotfl:says more about you than you've actually said.:(:(

Striders next video?; "View from colon of white van mans smug face"
    Now that would be funny:rotfl:
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed
