they still have plastic bags over them so im assuming they arent up and running yet. thankfully!
  • The posts have been in place for a while now, but the cameras themselves only seem to have gone up in the past few days.
  • I remember seeing the plans for these on the news a few months ago. They are going to be used for a few months on trial with no tickets issued, but then who knows. A few people have been killed on that road, especially at the junctions - so if it helps prevent accidents I am all for it ( and I use it every day!)

A teenager and a guy in his twenties were killed on that stretch of road this time last year so I hope these cameras help to prevent accidents.

I must have missed the accidents. Ive been driving that stretch of road for 10 years (3 to and from work) and i havent seen a single accident. Its a 70 mile an hour zone anyway, i sit at 70 and i think ive been passed once in all those years.

I have seen several school children nearly getting hit by motorists further down the road at Dundonald high, people always speed there.
