sarah1969, will do, im even trying to find out who issues the tickets, i intend to speak to the store manager and see whats going on.
I received my second letter today and i quote "we are fully aware of anecdotal information being presented via the internet on various websites and you may well feel this guidance is worth following. we strongly urge you to seek ind leg advice rather than rely on these opinions, and we would respectfully suggest that you refer to the civil procedure rules part 31 and more specifically parts 31.16 and 31.17"...we will be contacting GRAHAM WHITE etc etc
I assume this is the standard second letter ?
It makes me laugh that they sent the letter on the 7th, but rang me on the 8th, with no mention to the letter, clearly a company with its finger on the pulse.0 -

Have you tried Googling a small section of that paragraph? You will see how many forum posters have had that standard letter before you. And you will find that the section they refer to does not even apply to a Small Claim!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Evening
So I marched into the store, with my picture of the sign posted by av securi t etc, asked the manager why the tickets where getting put on cars etc, his face went white when i showed him the article saying the compnay had gone into admin. So to be fair he used the helpline number and rang it, a bloke called PAUL JONES said, oh no we havent got into admin, then he changed his tune to say the company avi securi t, where now under a holding compnay called BP PARKING SOLUTIONS, none of this is displayed anywhere. The manager could not apologise enough, doubt if he will do anything. I have since found out that the ticket bloke, is very selective on who he gives tickets to. The battle continues.....0 -

They're definitely taking you to court?
Or they just say they will unless you pay up?
They don't do court, they know they'd lose.Je Suis Cecil.0 -
Just another lie to add to all the other lies they've told you so far.alison1969 wrote: »saying they are taking me to court for the parking ticket offence vp parking solutions0 -
The judge in a recent County court case ruled that parking companies are simply contractors and have no legal right to claim money from car park users. This basic principle applies to every company and every ticket.
Obviously, parking companies don't want you to know that!
2011
1.8m private parking invoices issued
845 small claims issued
49 cases came before a judge
24 cases won by parking companies
25 won by defendants

72,000-1 chance of losing in courtThe word "gullible" isn't in the dictionaryTickets: 19 [cancelled: 18, paid: 0, pending: 1]
