But it's not a legit debt if the OP was not driving.
And TBH people do need to COMPLAIN in the correct places in order to bring these companies down.
Does the fact they were wound up by HMRC mean that they were investigated for VAT evasion like VCS were?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It would possibly be the case, my quip about OR chasing the invoice was to illustrate how far up the official food chain these PPC invoices are misunderstood.0 -
I have just received a call from a mobile number saying they work for Roxburghe chasing up the parking issue, that we have covered so far in this post. The person claims DVLA gave them my mobile number and that the company AV Securi, have not gone out of business, as stated in previous posts.
Has anybody else had any recent dealings regarding the company and any calls ?
All advice appreciated.
Thanks0 -
Naughty Roxburghe lying again!!

Which A Securi-T the old one or the new one? When did you get the original invoice?0 -
I had the ticket back on Sep 14 2011, the letter from Roxburghe a week ago and the call today.0

Oh dear, Roxburghe's just don't know when to stop digging. Assuming that we are talking about AS Securi-T Ltd then, if they know that they have gone out of business, quite who do they think they are collecting the debt on behalf of? Given that AS Ltd are being dealt with the Official Receiver I can't see that Roxburghe's are collecting for him. Are they collecting for the directors and if so does the OR know?jackmannion wrote: »I have just received a call from a mobile number saying they work for Roxburghe chasing up the parking issue, that we have covered so far in this post. AS Securi-T went into receivership earlier in the year and were succeeded by a company called VP Parking Solutions Ltd - same directors, same address and the same paperwork. They have not done court and follow the same business model as the majority, a few demanding letters, debt collection agency letters, solicitors letter and maybe a few calls. Then it goes silent when they move on to someone else who is more easily persuaded to pay up.jackmannion wrote: »Has anybody else had any recent dealings regarding the company and any calls ?

Roxburghe's are just debt collectors - no more power than you or I to do anything but ask for the money but, of course, they will attempt to make you think that they have. They don't. Phone calls are part of the script. If they call again tell the that you will record all further calls and report them as harassment.
Roxburghe's pose as solicitors called Graham Whites as they effectively rent the name from a real solicitor who is actually well into his 70's. They will threaten all manner of nonsense. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
Thanks to you all, I intend to go to the store tomorrow and warn them of whats occurring in their car park.0

'Warn them'? Complain! They are allowing a protection racket to take place so complain to the store manager and say you will be voting with your feet.
Just tell Roxburghe, next time they harass you with a phone call, that the alleged debt is DENIED.
Phone down.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

As the official receiver stated that the new company did not buy the assets of the old company, I wonder if they are still operating on these sites under the old contract which was covered by the old company? [If you follow]:p
Surely the contracts held by a company would be assets for the OR to dispose of?
Or a new contract would need setting up with the new company at least!0 -

While you're there, have a look at what name is on the signs, will you?0
