or you could skip past the threads that don't interest you?
or are you saying its only food supermarket grabbits you don't want to see rather than say sunscreen, extra points, boots offers, clothes offers?0 -

Why not spend an extra few seconds and check the other forum ? You seriously saying that you will deliberately not look at the supermarket forum even though you know of its existence ?0 -

I think that sometimes the ordinary Grabbit board gets clogged up with Supermarket offers, some of which are definitely not Grabbits, but minor price reductions, and lots of them are not even available at all locations anyway. Putting these in the correct section means it makes way for the true Grabbits of any other nature that people generously post. This includes the ones you mention, such as Boots offers and clothes of course.
You say 'you could skip past the threads that don't interest you' and of course that's what I do when I see a Grabbit for, say, a special offer on a Warhammer video game, cheap nappies etc. on the Grabbit board, after all, everyone is looking for something different. But....supermarket offers belong in the supermarket/food section & it does mean that you scroll through more pages to get past the shopping offers on the Grabbit board. No big deal you might say, but people are quick to kick off when something's been put in the wrong section normally, or quick to criticise someone when an offer's already been posted!Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0 -
No I dont think I would bother. I'm not interested in supermarket deals per se, I am only interested in great supermarket deals like 75% off or more.:)
I get a few spare minutes here and there and it takes all my time just keeping up with Grabbit.
Also, it's the thin end of the wedge. You will end up with a seperate section for clothes, another for gardening, another for toys. But I'm sure most people are like me and only want to hear about the great deals, even if they are in supermarkets.
Anyway, I'm not that bothered really as the great deals do seem to make their way to the Grabbit board eventually.0 -

So it is ok for those not interested in food bargains to have to scan through them on the Grabbit board, but when someone suggests that you scan through the Groceries board instead it is not worthy of your time?Gone ... or have I?0 -

1. There's a lot of peeps who only check the Grabbits and they would miss out,
2. I can't seem to recall THAT many supermarket deals on Grabbit.
Thanks.0
