Is it just me who thinks this?

There are some fab Grabbits on the board, but to be honest I really don't want to read about a margarine being 30p instead of 75p in Tesco on this board or similar 'bargains' as I don't feel it's a Grabbit - at least not in the broad sense of the word. It may be a bargain - if you have that particular supermarket near you & they stock it - but even so, surely it's not a 'Grabbit.'

Why can't there just a be a Supermarket section, where people post Supermarket Grabbit finds? (Maybe there is one that I haven't spotted?)

I don't read Grabbit much these days. I find that, a bit like Hot Deals UK, it is mostly about stuff I am not interested in. I don't see the need to post half-price grocery deals either, as there are always half-price or BOGOF deals on in the supermarkets. They change every Wednesday. Maybe just needs people to think a bit more before they post. I have posted deals in the past, but it has to be something really worthwhile now before I post, ie, big saving and widely available.

theres a real mix of grabits on the board....some are goood in the sense they highlight a "real bargain " or glitch...some are regenerations of emails that lots of us get anyway from various companies and others well someone must think they are useful....

Its difficult to have particular sections to post them...some would be continually asking for threads to be moved etc as they were posted in the wrong section....I think its just a case of scrolling through and clicking on what might be of interest to you...and bypassing the rest

BTW picked up some great meat bargains at my local supermarket las night ...all with yellow stickers...its really worth checking there when you go ...sorry didn't post at the time as shop was closed by the time I got home and as its very store specific and I've also not told you which one its really not worth worrying about!!!!!!!

I'll stop the reply now for fear of being told that its rapidly turning into a discussion which of course we shouldn't really have on the grabbit board...but I do understand your direction....

    Food Shopping & Groceries

A separate grocery forum would prevent clogging up the main Grabbit board, but I am not sure how feasible it would be.

Well yes, I didn't want to highlight one particular post, which was why I changed the details.

Thankyou yes, so why are people posting supermarket 'Grabbits' here?

Because I suspect many people only view this board or because they know its the most popular forum without taking the time to post in right forum

Ps you thread should be in Site Feedback
