It may be a bargain - if you have that particular supermarket near you & they stock it - but even so, surely it's not a 'Grabbit.'
Why can't there just a be a Supermarket section, where people post Supermarket Grabbit finds? (Maybe there is one that I haven't spotted?)
i like the way this thread is atm.
if it's a bargain, then why not post it here? if the board guides feel the thread should be moved to the food and grocery thread, then they will.
for example, thatguy1 posts some really good supermarket deals here on the grabbit thread. tesco, sainsbury's, asda, lidl, aldi etc., he covers them all...and i'm sure most of us have a few of them nearby.
this thread is called 'Quick! Grabbit while you can'; the supermarket offers are available while stocks last, so surely you can see why the 'bargains' are posted here?
with regards to the 'margarine thread', i think it is a grabbit. potentially, you could get the butter for 20p (which is a great deal in itself) AND get a £2 gift card from ASDA!:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

Don't even get me started.. Who actually gets excited over Tesco reducing their already shoddy 15p pasta to 9p? I mean, really?0

i think the number of supermarket posts has increased to a point where it needs to be looked at.
a seperate forum would be the simplest answer0 -

I suspect you posted it here as you know its going to get more reads than if you had put it in the correct section - which is exactly what the posters you are complaining about are up toBow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais0 -

ummmm, students?
the amount of times i've seen the value/basics/smart price pasta shelves empty in manchester; i've lost count!
i'm pretty sure a lot of people who are struggling financially will find 500g of pasta for 9p a worthwhile saving!:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

Then they should look for (& find) those posts in the supermarket Grabbit thread, not the usual one, shouldn't they?Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0 -
I see the moving of posts has started already, I've spotted a few that were in Quick Grabbit this morning but have now been moved.
I 'm grateful to all previous posts as I have picked up a few bargains and agree that it did not matter that they were in that forum as did not take long to scan.
Now I have another forum to check, but had I not seen this post I would not have known!0 -
It's a shame I'll now miss any great bargains just because they happen to be in a supermarket. A bargains a bargain no matter where it's from. Hopefully people will continue to post in the 'wrong' place (Grabbit) so I get to see them.0

Surely you can check the Supermarket forum as well as the Grabbit one?
People looking for Supermarket Grabbits can skim through that forum, people looking for anything but Supermarket Grabbits can look through the ordinary Grabbits board.Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0
