Hiya everyone - we are back home now - if we hadn't stopped for milk and mullers at Mr T near home, it would have only taken us 4 hours which is good going - not a lot of traffic and no heavy rain on the way, so that helped. The boys have taken Kit back to her's and they themselves at back home now, so the weekend is officially over, but we all feel so relaxed and refreshed after the great time we had, so mission accomplished
My bags are unpacked, the washer is on, we have had a cuppa and now Mr Dogs is having a short nap on the sofa before going to slimming class. I will stay in and do my washing, and go to slimming tomorrow morning, and we will pick the doggies up from the kennels on the way back from there

Thanks Marru - hope you are OK hun??????
My friend Linda came home from hospital about 5 pm tonight and seems Ok, though she has been told that she will never be able to straighten her leg again, in fact this op, to remove the metal pins, will only give her another inch or two bend in her kneee due to the tightness behind the knee which they admitted is due to the lack of physio after her original op   It was not the consultant's fault though, after all, as it was the local hospital she went to before she came home who should have continued her physio after she was discharged home. They can't understand how she 'slipped through the net' but, it seems that she is not the only person who has suffered after not receiving after-care they were due. This is under investigation by the hospital and she has been advised to sue for damages, which she does intend to do as she has been left totally disabled by their error
Other than that, she is happy to be home again :j
