I shred my paperwork and then put in our recycling bin, it is taken away and shredded again, before being reused, so no landfill. Do you have recycling bins where you live? Our Council take ours.
yes i have recycling bin but i am getting rid of paperwork with names and addresses on it so needs destroying the prob is council wont take shredded paper0 -
the alternative is to buy the shredding scissors and cut up your paperwork with them, maybe then they will take it away?
got those but wears blisters on my fingers
last shredder i had broke cos of using it so much
burning the paperwork is more efficient i have a proper incinerator bin to do it in we have a hose and tap close by the fireman were lined up along the wall watching apparently and son put it out they said neighbours phoned as they did not approve so we have to keep them happy:(0 -
