    Will miss you!!!!:(:(

I can confirm that I still have my mobile phone, though there was a scare - when b-i-l picked me and my sister up from station she had walked across town from work to meet me we went to their house, we dropped him off and I drove us down to see Mam. When I get there I always get my glasses and phone out of my bag before I tuck it away in the cupboard if Mam sees anything unusual on the chair or floor, she keeps saying 'is that someone sitting in the chair' or 'is that a cat' !! and I couldn't find my phone - emptied everything out ...... no phone  then I realised I had used it in the back of the car so it must have fallen out of my bag when it fell over in the back of the car ....... and sure enough, there it was on the floor in the back phew!!

Got no chocolate Steve - didn't bring any with me and I don't plan on buying any - going to be good - no chocolate and no cakes :D:D

Didn't bother connecting to internet at my sisters last night - when we got back from seeing Mam, sister cooked a lovely chilli and rice (free on s/world plan :j) and we just sat chatting about their holidays, etc and I went to bed about 10.30 pm :D

I've settled into my neice's house this morning, and been down to see Mam for lunch time but she waas on her ice cream when I got there at 12.30 pm as they must have started early. She must have knocked the bowl over though, as she showed me the mesh on the sheets to the side of her, all soaked and messy. I folded the sheet back and put paper towels over so she could rest her arm there, and wiped her hand and arm clean, then fed her the rest of the ice cream. When I took the bowl back I told them what had happened and asked them to come change her sheets when they finished with everyone's lunches.

No-one came to do it, but the hairdresser came to set her hair when she finished her meds/nebuliser. She went up to ask them to lift her up the bed but they were busy with another lady. So we both lifted Mam up into a sitting position so she could start putting her rollers in, and I then left. But I told the head carer, who was in the foyer supervising a delivery, about it and she said 'Have they not done it yet - I'll get them to do it now' so hopefully, that will be sorted

Sorry about your ribs Beanie - Mr 3Dogs and I have both done that before and it is VERY painful, but as others have said, they don't strap them anymore. All you can do it take pain-killers and grin and bear it until it eases. I found sleeping the worst, as you just can't move a muscle without it being agonising pain - even breathing hurt. Do you do have our sympathies hun :(
