BB - I like 'let them eat cake' too!
Well I've got over my rant earlier :rotfl: glad I stayed in library, got quite a bit done. Went to the actual library afterwards and got a few books out.
Then went to meet girls for dinner. Had a good catch up. Sadly my friend has said she will not be coming to the wedding in the Bahamas
. She said it's absolutely nothing to do with her husband saying no, just that she will feel very bad about going away and having fun whilst he stays home and works. We didn't even tell her about the fact that we want to go for 10 days!
Off for a cwtch on sofa, and to read a mag and watch the Apprentice (anyone see last nights?!)

B/B 'Cakewalk',
'Piece of Cake',
'Taaarts'(although you may get some odd customers, ala t.v. Bread series):D
Julie67 I am trying to get it done before my brother Davy comes next Monday from France for a flying visit as I know what he's like and he's just as likely to want to do it for me, and as he had a stent put in to his heart in February I don't want him to do anything.
I finished it off but I think I may do another coat tomorrow as I'm not happy with the coverage on the walls.
Had a nice curry for dinner tonight, and can have a lie-in( means I can have a cuppa in bed instead of leaping into the shower first thing) tomorrow morning as DD has the day
off so she will do the school run for me.
Very sticky tonight, and I have dug out the fan as I feel quite uncomfotable so its blowing nicely around my ankles at the moment.
I finished my Stuart Macbride book off ,and will now have to wait until next year for the next one as he does one a year.It was very good. 'Shatter the Bones' His hero Logan McCrea is a bit of an anti-hero, but its a very enjoyable read.
'Make do and mend' is supposed to finish on Friday I do hope they get another series.
RIE my thought are with you I am so sorry that you have had a rotten day it must be so frustrating at times .
<<hugs to all who are feeling down or blue>>
Right time for me to forage for a new book to read ,probably a Ken Follett, as I bought a stack when I was on holiday and we went to Hay-on Wye,my idea of heaven that place 28 bookshops in one tiny town ,pure bliss for an avid reader like me.
Take care all

Evening all!
Would whichever generous person who shared the d&v bug with me take it back now please, Ive had enough fun with it!
Me and the loo have been far too friendly since 2.30am, tummy is rumbly and tender but scared to try feeding it! As a result have achieved not a lot today, although the bathroom has been blitzed on more than one occasion! Will go to bed soon and hopefully sleep!RIP Iain

We're like that with the Jim Butcher Harry Dresden novels - I keep mentioning Hay to OH but for some reason he has selective deafness...to be fair we have run out of book shelves :rotfl:But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green
