Greetings, OS pals.
I should flamin' well think so! Cheeky mare - who does she think she is? It's your wedding, you don't have to have anyone you don't want! This struck a major chord with me, after QBOTU (aka Mr LW's ex) invited herself to Mr LW's DSis's funeral in December. This resulted in Mr LW himself feeling unable to attend!:mad:Hardup_Hester wrote: »to make life really wonderful his ex now wants an invitation to our wedding, my reply contains 2 words, the first one begins with F, I'm sure you can guess the rest!
RIE, Bitsy has said what I was thinking, but has put it a lot better than I would have managed. (((HUGS)))Bitsy_Beans wrote: »Oh Rage I am sorry the scan wasn't positive
hugs hugs for you and I think a nice relaxing holiday sounds JUST the ticket for you guys. Hugs for your H too as I worry sometimes the men can be forgotten about in the whole IVF game xxxx
It's dry, so far, but extremely overcast today, so I've put the washing on the A-frame over the bath; I simply do not have sufficient spoons for the Washing Hokey Cokey today.:(
Other than that, dins tonight is listed on the meal plan as "Bangers'n'mash OR sausage & egg salad", both of which required Mr LW to prep some spuds last night (which he duly did):A In view of the weather, I think we'll go with the hot option.:D
Have a good day, everyone.:beer:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Had first home grown radishes from garden yesterday with a salad for tea.
Dds turned their nose up at leftover spicy chicken for fajitas so I had some for lunch to use it up and DH had salad with salmon (also leftovers).
Still have home made cake I made yesterday and going to bake some fish from the freezer with oven chips and peas for tea. Despite DH groaning in despair whenever a delivery arrives - I want to order some more stuff from approved foods like stir fry noodles, black bean sauce, pasta, diet coke, cake mix, sauces, herbs and spices as it saves such a lot of money.
Did I hear MATH was back? :j

Well done on the short succint message to sil and not throwing something at bil.

You could really do with a holiday and recharge your batteries. I am so sorry about the scan etc.

Grrr so annoyed.. Have come to uni and met with my tutor who has checked over my work as says its all good., just a few things to tweak. But the other tutor isn't here and she still has my last assignment (which was submitted in March!), everyone got theirs back last week but I was away (we were meant to have them 2 weeks before Easter but she forgot them!). I have emailed her 3 times asking for the feedback from the assignment as I need to put this in my personal development plan which is the only piece of work I still have left to do. She hasn't left the assignment for me so I am now stuck about finishing that piece of work now. My tutor rung her and apparently she will email the feedback to me tomorrow but I won't hold my breath!
I've decided to stay in the uni library now and do some work (not read MSE :rotfl:) for an hour or so then go to shops for bit and meet my friends at 5pm cos there's not much point going home first.

I'd go with 'The village Bakehouse, sounds old fashioned & cosy & in times of recession people always hark back.

Now I think this sounds very good, very trendy as in yummy mummy set of buyers etc .....I can see this on nice little brown paper bags....and it'll give people a laugh....which means it's memorable...
If I ever get to open a needlework shop it will be called "The Lazy Daisy"....But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green

Afternoon All
Just lost a long post
Knees, hands and fingers were really swollen and painful when I woke up so I am running on Tramadol today.
Had the urge to go to the library today which was quite pleasant and I have come away with a few books to read .
Had rain here too so no washing done - I hope it will be dry tomorrow because DD has just brought all her washing down  her drawers must be empty is all I can say.
DS starts his A levels next week too, so positive vibes to all of the youngsters who have to endure the exam season.
JackieG  A day early for a funeral I didn't know whether to laugh or cry ....that old timers disease is a real be'atch .......OK, OK so I pmsl :rotfl:But I am sure that we have all got our dates up the spout at some time in our lives .....I have gone to a hospital appointment a month early before now ((((((((hugs)))))))) and don't let black dog back in.
